Johny Hendricks vs. Robbie Lawler
Carlos Condit vs. Tyron Woodley
Myles Jury vs. Diego Sanchez
Hector Lombard vs. Jake Shields
Nikita Krylov vs. Ovince St. Preux - no fucking clue who these guys are.

For some reason i think those 4 fights all go to a decision.
I like Lawler by KO
Woodley by decision because Condit can't stop a takedown to save his life
Diego by decision likely in a war again lol
Have a hard time seeing how Shields can beat Lombard but he is a winner and has proved me wrong before, Lombard by decision.

I think Condit fight will be like the Diaz fight. I know Woodley is super fast, but I think it'll look like the Marquardt fight.

Woodley is a big, strong, fast and athletic wrestler. Condit has given up 25 takedowns in his last 3 fights and can't stop a takedown at all really. He has an active guard but unless he submits Woodley off his back he could lose a boring decision especially over 3 rounds. If anyone watched Woodley in Strikeforce he can go full lay and pray mode, I doubt he stands for Condit for long.

He's fast man - he may try to knock him out early before Condit can adjust. I honestly just think there is so much on the line for all the welterweights that they'll probably end in decisions.

Yeah I think Condit gets a title shot with a win, not sure about the other WW's on the card. What's funny is that Shields has beaten Condit, Lawler and Woodley, 3 of the top 4 on the card.

I actually sort of like watching Shields fight. Seeing a guy with very little natural athletic ability or coordination try to handle the toughest guys on earth is sort of fascinating.

Lombard should take a page out of Jake Ellenberger and blitz him.

Agree. I'm not a fan in the sense where I want him to win, so I don't care if Lombard takes him out. I just don't mind watching his fights.

He is boring but he's world class. I always thought he was the best fighter in Strikeforce. (I was wrong Gilbert was). I don't mind watching him because he is so good at what he does. It's kinda like a few friends of mine who can't watch a really good defensive NFL game. They think it's boring when it 3-0 in the forth quarter as to where I'm very entertained.

He just neutralizes offense and provides none of his own. He's totally overrated imo. He was 5 seconds away from being choked out by Mayhem Miller.

He has offense, he is a volume striker he just has zero power. He is also a sensational grappler who won the majority of the grappling exchanges against Damien Maia of all people. Not sure how you can say he's overrated, look at the list of guys he's beaten. He's lost two fights in ten years lol since 2004. He's not entertaining but he's a winner. Mayhem was actually pretty damn good a few years ago.

Probably skews my opinion of him. Just not a fan, I know he's great on the ground, but when the only time you were part of a finish in the UFC is when you got knocked out, i'm just not interested.

Yeah the last person he finished was Lawler in 2009 with a guillotine. Submissions are down across the board though as guys are becoming more and more savvy with their defense.

I don't have stats to back it up but I agree. Also, most submissions usually start with someone getting hurt with a strike first.

the problem there was until Condit and Hendricks, no one was on his level to give him a challenge.

Hendricks looked awful at the weigh ins, shaking uncontrollably. Sure sign of dehydration and he still has to lose 1.5 lbs, not good at all.

It was a good finish but I thought the rounds were pretty close. The punch Strauss landed in the second though was brutal .

Yeah that was a hailmary finish, scorecards revealed that Curran probably would have won a split decision.
