Him and Nick, Nick stood and took bombs from Daley who is one of the hardest punchers in the sport. I'm definitely a Condit fan, he has that warrior spirit.I Wear Pants;1594095 wrote:Condit probably has the best chin in the division. Ate everything Hendricks could hit him with as well. I could watch him fight every card.

Rematch of what is probably the best fight I've ever seen tonight between Hendo and Shogun, probably going to be another war. Main card starts at 7 on Fox Sports 1, prelims are at 5 on the same channel. I think Shogun finishes Dan this time as much as I don't wanna see Hendo lose 4 in a row, this could be his last fight.

I counted 5 shots to the back of the skull, have too thing Shogun would have recovered if not for those.I Wear Pants;1595837 wrote:Not a fan of those shots to the back of the head by Hendo.

He was grabbing the leg and defending like you're supposed to when rocked until after the third or so illegal blow. Disappointing. Maybe it would have still ended but it sucks that we don't get to find out.robj55;1595862 wrote:I counted 5 shots to the back of the skull, have too thing Shogun would have recovered if not for those.

Still not sure if Shogun's collapse after it was stopped was frustration or disorientation. He certainly knew his nose was F'ed up.

Not one word was said about it either, just blows my mind. Anyone can get KO'd from shots to the back of the head, extremely dangerous.I Wear Pants;1595872 wrote:He was grabbing the leg and defending like you're supposed to when rocked until after the third or so illegal blow. I don't think he was ever unconscious, he certainly was hurt though and his nose was destroyed.Zoltan;1595886 wrote:Still not sure if Shogun's collapse after it was stopped was frustration or disorientation. He certainly knew his nose was F'ed up.

Great card tonight! Hendo is a beast! Came back from the dead but I do agree with the shots to the back of the head kinda killing it.

Lots of weird situations for the ref's last night as well.
Bad stoppage in the Siler fight I thought. He was hurt but throwing an up kick and defending himself.
Villante looked out on his feet, but I couldn't tell if he was just exhausted.
Hendo looked like he was out for a brief second in the first round, then the finish with shots to the back of head, etc. Not an easy job.

Happy for dolloway. He may be able to make a late push, seems like I've been waiting on him for years.

Him and Matt Brown have really come on and been the best two best guys from that season of TUF. That was probably the only season I watched every episode of.gerb131;1595957 wrote:Happy for dolloway. He may be able to make a late push, seems like I've been waiting on him for years.

His striking has improved a ton over the past few years, he got robbed in his previous fight against Tim Boetsch. Should be on a 4 fight win streak.gerb131;1595957 wrote:Happy for dolloway. He may be able to make a late push, seems like I've been waiting on him for years.

All Hendo has is the right hand and that's all he apparently needs. Was a great fight. He doesn't have much left in him, though. He got lucky.

lol wut? You really think those put him out? please. He wasn't intelligently doing shit, he was turtled, and you have no clue how tight he was grabbing his leg and then to collapse after like that? No way those were from those head shots and not the bomb he broke his face with.I Wear Pants;1595872 wrote:He was grabbing the leg and defending like you're supposed to when rocked until after the third or so illegal blow. Yes, watch the replay, he was not out from that right hand although it broke his nose. He rolled backwards and grabbed a single leg, can't do that if you're unconscious can you?Raw Dawgin' it;1596220 wrote:lol wut? You really think those put him out? please. I think he was still technically conscious, but was probably in grab anything mode. He could have ended up grappling with the ref as we have seen many times. Tough fight for Shogun. 6-7 now in the UFC, and I think him and Hendo should both retire. They are legends who will never win a belt again, and both been through too much trauma.robj55;1596268 wrote:Yes, watch the replay, he was not out from that right hand although it broke his nose. He rolled over from being punched not because he went "oh man, he got me, better pull guard."robj55;1596268 wrote:Yes, watch the replay, he was not out from that right hand although it broke his nose. He rolled backwards and grabbed a single leg, can't do that if you're unconscious can you?
I've seen lots of fights where fights wrestle or grab limbs when they're clearly out. Case and point, Jon Fitch. It's muscle memory for these guys. Did you see him stumble when he tried to get up? I doubt he knew he got a couple back of the head shots. Some were side ones and he also wrapped one around underneath. To say it was stopped early is crazy, his nose was pointing the wrong way.

Who ever said it was stopped early? I said he was hit with 5 illegal shots to the back of the skull which is true.Raw Dawgin' it;1596271 wrote:He rolled over from being punched not because he went "oh man, he got me, better pull guard."
