Got the DVR set for tonight. I hope Kennedy smashes Bisbing Hendo style! Saturday night should be good as well on Fox!

Not really big fights but it's a really good card with fun match ups imo. Leslie Smith vs Sarah Kaufmann, KJ Noons vs Sam Stout, Patrick Cote vs Kyle Noke, Dustin Porier vs Akira Corissani, George Roop vs Dustin Kimura. Bisping vs Kennedy should be a damn good fight.bigdaddy2003;1605703 wrote:Any other big fights tonight?

Corissani and Porier were very heated at the weigh ins.

I feel like Porier will run through him. Also hope Kennedy beats Bisping.Fab1b;1605726 wrote:Corissani and Porier were very heated at the weigh ins.

I really like this weekends FOX card as well. It seems the big FOX channel cards are even more stacked the PPV cards these days.

Damn good fights so far. Porier and Corisani was a fun scrap, Porier broke his Akira's nose in the second round and finished after a great first round. Noons pretty much killed Sam Stout who had never been stopped by strikes, just a brutal KO. Ryan Jimmo flatlined his opponent with a monster right hand as well.

Any one watch the new season of TUF?? A guy from Columbus made it into the house by KOing his opponent in like 15 sec

Nice win for KJ, he needed that.
The refs need to do a better job of controlling fighters after TKO/KO's. Way too often they are needlessly grabbing the winning fighter while the concussed guy is walking around on ***** street. Maynard vs. Diaz was a good example, as Maynard fell flat on his face while the ref wasn't even looking.

thought Bisping looked really rusty, his TDD is normally top notch, and he was very tentative on the feet. He also got hit a lot more than he normally does, I wonder if the eye had anything to do with it.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, why not grab the guy and hold him until you get the stool under him. Anything can happen, could fall and hurt a knee or whatever.Zoltan;1606121 wrote:Nice win for KJ, he needed that.

Kennedy didn't look very good either. Both of them looked like gatekeepers since if they perform like that they'd get smashed by Weidman, Machida, Vitor, etc.

Yeah Kennedy had some moments, I was impressed with his bjj and top game but he was just holding Bisping for large stretches on the ground while he should have been trying to do damage. He did land some big shots on the feet but he's not a very technical striker and he seemed like he slowed way down after the first round.I Wear Pants;1606139 wrote:Kennedy didn't look very good either. What's weird is I would have thought Bisping was the Jackson's guy if I didn't know better. He was throwing a lot of the kicks that Condit likes as well as the flying knees. I'm assuming a lot of his issues had to do with his layoff. I think we'll see him win his next one rather than start to fall off the map.robj55;1606153 wrote:Yeah Kennedy had some moments, I was impressed with his bjj and top game but he was just holding Bisping for large stretches on the ground while he should have been trying to do damage. Heard someone broke their hand in the first round, was it Noke or Kennedy? Could explain why he didn't look great if it was Kennedy.
