Wow I guess I was crazy for expecting a mature answer to the fact I pointed out your logical fallacy.

You can't speculate about how precise something can be when there is an element that is 100% uncontrollable, the human element. You could have a quarterback with 100% perfect QB traits, and could still fail because no one knew he was a headcase. To say a #1 pick will not fail is one thing, to say it will not fail because of how precise scouting will become is a logical fallacy.

Sorry if you find that me pointing that out to you has anything to do with law school.

Should be interesting as they will have Adams at LT and will be sliding Colon from the right side, where he played tackle, to the left side to play guard. They'll have a rookie at LT and a guy not only switching positions (tackle to guard) but sides of the line (right to left). They will also be relying on these guys to protect Roethlisbergers backside.

Tucker said there's no guarantee that Colon will make a smooth transition since there have been plenty of solid tackles who have tried to move to guard and have failed miserably. He said that the game is "faster" at guard as tackles have time to adjust to a rusher where at guard the defender is right on top of you immediately.

Hopefully this doesn't bode well for them.

They also have Legursky and Foster if things aren't working out with the Adams at LT, Colon at LG and Gilbert at RT mix doesn't work out. I think DeCastro at RG and Pouncey at C will be just fine. I look for it to be an improved O-Line with improved depth one way or another as last year no team had to juggle their O-Line as much as the Steelers did and they managed to go 12-4.

Who knows for sure what will happen but I think the offensive line will be better due to some nice additions and hopefully an ability to remain healthy.

Made two bets today that the browns will make it to the playoffs this year. Little did they know I have the sports almanac from back to the future. easy money.

So was very interested to hear a brief interview on the way home with Ed Reed. He sounded like he wasn't coming back this year and didn't sound overly thrilled with Harbaugh & Ozzie. No Reed + no Suggs + aging Ray Lewis could be interesting.

Is he a free agent, or contemplating retirement again?

JT should be the first linemen listed let alone the first tackle listed smh. Also haden at #55. LOL at skyhook making Haden out to be mediocre.

Yeah, just noticed Duane Brown. Duane Brown? Who the f#ck is Duane Brown? When did some unknown named Duane Brown supplant Thomas as the best LT in football? Carl Nicks is solid though.

Haden had a down/mediocre year last year but he's not a mediocre player.

Duane was 2nd team all pro ONCE. They can GTFO with him being above JT. As for Haden, I still think he did solid, would have been more dominant if he was 100% imo. He didn't look himself after his injury against the Titans.

Cribbs' diminishing value. No surprise here. I think this might be his last year in a Browns uni....

Elite O-Line?

http://www.cantonrep.com/browns/x358786580/Around-the-NFL-Could-Browns-be-building-elite-offensive-line

And a little off topic....so last night my girlfriend and I go to pick up the weekly groceries at Walmart. I hate Walmart but the only other real option is Giant Eagle and that's owned by a bunch of Steeler lovers who try to shove Yinzer gear down your throats and their prices are too high but I digress.

So we're in the checkout and I can tell the cashier is kinda white trashy and should cut back on the carbs. I'm about to hand her my money (paid cash, rarely pay cash) and she notices my Browns hat & t-shirt. She proceeds to get an attitude and says "I can't take your money, you're a BROWNS fan....it might have some disease or voodoo curse on it or something." After I paid I said to her "I'm surprised you know what 'cash' is as I'm sure you're used to paying for everything with a plastic card that says 'State of Ohio Department of WELFARE' on it." She just looked at me dumbfounded....and I emphasize "dumb."

2. Weeden indeed was superb in rookie camp. One Browns football man told me, "He wasn't just accurate, he was ridiculously accurate. And his arm is strong." They had him under center more than 90 percent of the time. He had "zero" problems making the adjustment from the shotgun, which he used at Oklahoma State most of the time. Maybe this will change once people are being rushed and tackled, but the Browns went into rookie weekend with high expectations -- and Weeden exceeded them.
This is why Colt was sent to the scrap heap. Stronger arm and more accurate.
