COA, what do you think of Stephen Hill? Obviously not that polished, but I love his blocking ability as a WR.
Robiskie was a "good blocker." Fuck that give me a WR who makes plays.

I really like Hill. To me he has top 5 WR in the league potential, but I worry about the Browns coaching staff being able to get him there. I've been on the randle wagon for most of the off season and think he's a perfect fit in the WCO. I'd be happy with either one.lhslep134;1154891 wrote:Not only that, but we need to make sure the o linemen we pick up later turn out fine.

Because even though they ended p with a "top 10" defense, they got lucky and I don't see that same defense repeating. They need some help too, especially at LB and in the secondary, especially with the teams they face this season. Upshaw I'm not sure would play DE opposite Sheard or play LB, may be a little slow in coverage? But Zach Brown or David could maybe be had in the 3rd. They could go WR/BPA with the 2nd, if they didn't get a wr in the 2nd take one in the 3rd, then get an OL and another WR later.

I know but Robiskie wasn't 6'4" with 4.4 speed. I'm sorry for trying to be hopelessly optimistic about this haha.like_that;1154894 wrote:Robiskie was a "good blocker." **** that give me a WR who makes plays.

Big thing to remember with Hill, it even took Calvin Johnson a while to turn into the beast he is today. Hill is even more raw as a prospect that Calvin Johnson/Demariyus Thomas were coming out. If we take Hill, we have to be patient.

Mike Jenkins - DB - Cowboys
Profootballtalk confirms the Cowboys are "shopping" CB Mike Jenkins.
Morris Claiborne will start opposite Brandon Carr, with high-priced Orlando Scandrick in the slot. Coming off shoulder surgery and entering the final year of his rookie contract, Jenkins would be unlikely to fetch more than a mid-round pick. Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, however, Dallas is hoping for a second- or third-round pick.

Browns need a corner. Send McCoy back home along with a draft pick for Jenkins?

Roda and brinda said the same.
I think they messed up....when decastro slipped they should have pounced.
Oh well, not like we have to face him twice a year now

Decastro should be very good but I knew they weren't taking him. Heckert seems to think that between Pinkston/Lauvao/Greco they will be fine. Whether it's right or not remains to be seen.wes_mantooth;1154913 wrote:Roda and brinda said the same.

I was surprised they didn't pounce on Reiff but I got the heads up via Twitter that the pick was Weeden before they even showed him on TV.

6 guards made the Pro Bowl last year. 1 was drafted 1st round, 2 went undrafted, 1 was drafted 3rd round, 1 4th, 1 5th. Guards/right side linemen can be found all throughout the draft. I'm not that upset at passing on Decastro, just kinda upset he went to Sh*ttsburgh.
I think AJ Jenkins going to 49ers (WTF?) helped because it meant a WR got drafted but left Reuben and Hill still on the board.
If we botch the rest of this draft I'll be mad, but in all honesty we won't know for 3 years at least if we botched it or not.

With the next few picks I'd like to see 2nd-WR, 3rd-RT, 4th- OLB and then add another WR, like the names you mentioned, after that. I think that would put them in a decent position.Pick6;1154892 wrote:I would be happy if the Browns took Upshaw, then traded up to assure they get one of the top 3 WRs left. Then take another WR in a later round (Posey, Broyles, Hilton, Page, etc)

[/h][h=6] If the Browns do indeed deal McCoy, I want someone else besides Wallace (bad attitude) as a backup.

Man, I just can't stand the idea of having Weeden at QB. He is just not an upgrade in my opinion...and to waste that high of a pick on him....sigh.
I would have been so happy with Trich, Decastro and best available receiver....oh well. We will have a top 5 pick next year, so hopefully we can get it right then.

Not if we addressed our O-Line in one way or another (FA or draft).Shurmur said he likes Weeden’s size at 6-4, 221.
“We’re always looking for bigger stronger guys,” he said. “A quarterback has to take the physical pounding.”

I can see the Browns using McCoy as a package to move back up into the 2nd or 3rd to get a player they covet.
EDIT: Just read a 6th or 7th for McCoy...

FWIW (which is probably nothing) a lot of the guys I go to school with out here that I just talked to while picking up a take home exam liked the Weeden pick. I just thought it was interesting hearing insight on Weeden from people other than Cleveland fan. They think he'll succeed with us if we can get some protection for him.

Now hearing Colt McCoy trade may be for another player (wide receiver) from the Packers? Heard it may be James Jones or Randall Cobb.
