The Steelers weren't all that great when I was growing up (Mark Malone/Bubby Brister years). Notre Dame.....first year I remember watching ND football was Holtz's first season which was when I was 8 years old. They weren't good then either although Lou did turn things around quickly. Syracuse was pretty good. Can't lie about that. However, I "chose" to like them when I first started following college hoops (11/12 years old) because they were on a lot on our local Pittsburgh stations (Big East country) and I loved their uniforms and Billy Owens was awesome. Been a fan since. I don't remember even seeing ND basketball on TV and so I didn't know shit about them. I do know that they weren't in the Big East back then though. The Knicks were good but never got over the Jordan hump. I enjoyed their physical style of play. Of course, they were the laughing stock of the NBA during the Isaiah Thomas/Scott Layden era.

That last line you posted would be more appropriate (and more funny) if I cheered for all winners.

I have pretty low hopes for the season right now, probably won't change much after the draft. So when they more than likely suck cock I wont be surprised. Besides, im not a diehard Browns fan, just root for them because I am from Ohio and live in Akron. Cowboys are my #1 team.
