You give a gamer like McCoy some weapons and he'll be the next Tom Brady; and you can take that to the bank.

LMJ is not as big (not height, size) or strong as Rice or MJD.
That being said, the position of running back has been completely devalued in the league. LMJ can easily provide 15 touches a game of game-breaking ability. If that can be had in the 3rd or later, I'm down for that, but we still need a back that can get us 6 yards on 1st down instead of 2 or 3.
Part of the reason our offense was so predictible is because we were always in 2nd and long. I don't remember many drives where we had multiple 2nd and shorts.

LeMichael James fits your bill it would seem. the only other backs that fit this bill that I'm aware of are the 2 Florida RBs, Demps and Rainey.lhslep134;1142754 wrote: LMJ can easily provide 15 touches a game of game-breaking ability.

id like this draft. i like jeffery. as long as he is in shape he can be a gamer, jeffery, little, norwood and moore could do some damageDeyDurkie5;1142762 wrote:1st pick- Richardson

The problem with LMJ, Demps, Rainey is that they aren't as adept at breaking tackles as a runner like T-Rich, Polk, or Wilson.Commander of Awesome;1142758 wrote:LeMichael James fits your bill it would seem. the only other backs that fit this bill that I'm aware of are the 2 Florida RBs, Demps and Rainey.
I'm starting to lean towards Blackmon at 4 because of the devaluation of running back/using multiple backs, the availability of pretty solid runners later on, and the fact I think Blackmon and Floyd are the only instant team-changing WR's in this draft.
But then I say things like that, and then watch highlights of T-Rich, and can't comprehend passing up a runner like that.

I agree. I am torn between Richardson and Blackmon. At 4 Blackmon and 22 David Wilson the back out of VT. But then like you say when you watch Richardson play its like damn.lhslep134;1142811 wrote:The problem with LMJ, Demps, Rainey is that they aren't as adept at breaking tackles as a runner like T-Rich, Polk, or Wilson.

Then i look at it, will Richardson be all used up before we find OUR qb? Or will he have his best behind him? idk
4 Blackmon
22 Wilson
37 OT/ LB

Just watched RGIII's Gruden camp. You can tell why everyone likes him so much as a person. Didn't get a sense of his NFL x's and o's but I would not recomend a Browns fan to watch it; it will just piss you off even more that we didn't get this kid.

Serious qurestion for Browns fan: Lets say we got the #2 pick, would you trade that pick to Carolina for Cam Newton? What about #22 for Josh Freeman?

Jim Irsay calls Ryan Tannehill a "hidden gem" and says that any team that wants him better move up to #3.

I would have to think about it at #2, but I probably would take Cam. I easily would trade the #22 for Josh Freeman.Commander of Awesome;1143061 wrote:Serious qurestion for Browns fan: Lets say we got the #2 pick, would you trade that pick to Carolina for Cam Newton? If someone would take Tannehill at 3 it would be the biggest mistake of the draft IMO. I don't see him as top 10 pick like a lot of people think...not enough starts in college to get a good read on him, he is an athlete who has a good arm, but that doesn't make him such a high pick. I would probably take Cam at #2 but I dont think Carolina would get rid of him.
