He'll likely be available at the 37th pick....like_that;1123044 wrote:Where is Alshon (spelling) Jefferey supposed to fall? I haven't heard much about him. If the Browns traded down picking up a 2nd or 2, I wouldn't mind taking him either.

I can see that. I remember before last season he was on ESPN's cover for their college football preview, and it looked like he had a gut going. Came off as a little too much partying, and not as much working hard during the off season.OneBuckeye;1123047 wrote:He should be there in a second. The way I see it, trade down to #6 with the Rams for their second rounder and a 3rd rounder in 2013. Grab Richardson at #6. Grab Hill or Wright at 22. Grab BPA at #34 and #37.
Win a Super Bowl.

Also, trade your entire 2013 draft for Drew Brees or Peyton Manning.

Nfl came down hard on the sean peyton, one year suspension, greg williams got suspended indefinitely.
Stephen hill is raw as hell. I think its a toss up between wright and hill at 22. If jeffery is there at 37 id take him too!

The difference between brees and McCoy is brees actually has a really strong arm. McCoy doesn't.

Honestly if we're going wr at 22 I want Michael Floyd. The guy is a beast and plays hard all the time. He may only be 6"3 but he can get up over the defender on deep routes and adjusts his body very well when the ball is in the air. I think he will actually be the best receiver in this class. His only concern is the way he plays he has had a couple injuries.

How much of a suspension will Fujita get for the Saints bounty system since the commish is coming down hard?

No disrespect to you but, who cares? Didn't do anything to make himself noticeable on the field last year. Dude is a liability to the defense. Am wondering if Usama Young gets nailed too?Fred Garvin;1123174 wrote:How much of a suspension will Fujita get for the Saints bounty system since the commish is coming down hard?

I think the league will hammer any and all players they can attach to the bounty system.

If that is the case, just retype your response regarding Fujita lol. I liked Fujita too. Before the home opener my friend and I happened to walk by the Browns hotel when the players were coming in the day before. Fujita took the time to take a photo with us, and seemed like a good guy.BR1986FB;1123184 wrote:No disrespect to you but, who cares? Am I the only one not sold on Stephan Hill? I think he is a 3rd round guy that is jumping based off of his 40 time. He needs time to develop as a WR because his route running is not great by no means. He is a better fit for a team with veteran WRs.

I really had not heard about Stephen Hill during the season...The only thing I know is that he runs a very fast 40yd dash and is about 6'4, and he played at GT. Not necessarily the best offense for wrs. Calvin Johnson dud go there but they werent running the triple option when he was there. I would much rather have Kendall Wright or Michael Floyd at 22. I think Hill would still be around in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Highlight video of Hill.

He has size and speed but I wonder how much his speed will be a factor in the NFL with the speedy corners and safeties.

Exactly. Johnson was a beast coming into the league.zach24oz;1123243 wrote:Calvin Johnson dud go there but they werent running the triple option when he was there.
Hill is huge and really fast, but he has 0 route-running ability at this point. I'd rather have Wright, even though I like both of them. Hill is too much of a project and the Browns need someone that can contribute off of the bat.

Personally if there's one critique of a WR coming into the league that I care least about it's route running. That can be taught, especially by a good WR coach. His development won't be up to par because of lack of emphasis GT put on route running, but I'd much rather have the things that can't be taught (body control, going up and getting the ball, ability to adjust quickly, and athleticism).
That being said, I still want Michael Floyd if available because I think he's the 2nd best WR in this draft and as much of a sure thing as Blackmon

Do they? Or do they tank to get a qb in there that is decent? Losing sucks.....but I don't know that it matters who is there with Colt throwing and running for his life.Mulva;1123302 wrote:Exactly. Johnson was a beast coming into the league.

But I was speaking from a selfish fan perspective. I don't want to see a receiver who might be really good in 3 years. Because that would mean the next 2 years will be 2011 again. And then I would have to run H&H out of town. On my own if necessary.
