I think AD and The Daily Record do a fine job covering Orrville. If anything, due to your winning tradition...it may appear from an outsiders persective...that you get MORE ink and colored photos than others!!! I dont see a bias against The Riders and think we are blessed to have such a committed sports staff locally!!!!

If we are fortunate enough to come out with the win, then I will be respectful to the Norwayne community and give them credit for having an excellent season...I hope the rest of the Rider faithful will do the same.

spoken like a true politician. I don't believe it one bit, but well said.:)

maybe you're(<for BRF) future is in politics.

The Daily Record does do an excellent job at covering ALL Wayne County schools in ALL sports. They are a lot better than let's say the Beacon Journal and the Plain Dealer.

I really don't like politics.....just trying to be level headed and enjoy this game. Wayne County football is special, and we are blessed to continuously have local schools making nice playoff runs. Having two county schools play each other in the second season doesn't happen very often, let's enjoy the game and have a wonderful night watching football!

Those boys are tough....they played in the WCAL. They will be ready for this game, but so will the Riders.

Anyone going to the Mooney/Big Red game tomorrow night?

I believe you have to fully respect the other program and the fact they are capable of beating you. Norwayne is an exceptional WCAL team but I think it's going too far to say these teams are evenly matched.
Is Norwayne's defense an even match with Orrville's defense? No. Look at what the highest powered offenses have done against the Red Rider D.
Is Norwayne's defense an even match with Orrville's offense? No. Can they defend our receivers AND keep an eye on Brenner AND stack the line to shut down Monheim? No.
Orrville loses when they have injuries, turnovers and penalties--not because of lack of talent or they were overmatched.
Orrville is healthy, therefore they will not lose because they were beaten by a better team. They will only lose if they go back to turning the ball over and making dumb penalties.

Norwayne has to play their best if they hope to win, but if Orrville plays their best they can't lose.

Well said 4QuarterPounders. Only way the Riders don't win this game is if they beat themselves. With us being at full strength we are the Mighty Red Riders and I see none stopping us in this region. Go Riders!
