I'm not missing the sarcasm of the comment, but I think the Red Sox definitely had the best roster in baseball. That rotation just got decimated by injuries. A healthy Bucholz and Bedard starting all season would have been scary. That's 4 guys who could be at minimum a #2 starter behind probably the best offense in baseball.

They obviously still should have at least made the playoffs though.

The Heat. Didn't hear the Phillies spouting off about how many chanpionships they would win. Also I don't remember seeing an hour long special on Cliff Lee taking his talents to South Philly.

no single person can control a game like a pitcher. People were saying the Phillies had the best pitching rotation in history. However many championships lebron said they are going to win is irrelevant because it is still possible (though very unlikely). The Heat made the finals. Phillies lost in the 1st round, doesnt matter if the other team was hot..wasnt Dallas hot when they beat Miami?? Lol.

I see your point, but Halliday did control that game Friday, but he got zero run support. LeBron and DWade can play offense and defense for 40-42 minutes a game. I still think basketball is the most individual dominated of the major sports.

Yeah I saw that, surprised me lol

OSU's fanbase gets a bad rap..when you have the most fans of any team in the country, you're gonna get some bad ones.

Maybe I just see more than most. To me, OSU's fan base makes the Browns fans look like they're MENSA.

These fanbases are generally the same people. I have met plenty of Browns fans that are just as bad, if not, worse than OSU fans.
