Amazing. Absolute last thing you can do as a pitcher in that spot. Throwing one over the backstop is better.

I love the 5-2 defense. Lot easier to keep a ball on the infield and how often do you really throw a guy out at the dish. As a hitter...thinking flyball here.

I NEVER pinch hit in a tie game for my BEST hitter. Way to often, its a hit that anyone scores on, no one scores on, or this shit happens and he gets to third without even having to run. I cant tell you how many times the pinch runner is useless.....until he hits in 2 innings.

Use Perez, and then Rage. I have no issue with bringing him in, in non save situations. Just not when better pitchers are available, or capable. We are lucky to have 4 of them.

We always agree on this, except in this situation. This team struggles to get hits, if..by god.. they managed one with Pronk on 2nd, you have to have a guy out there who can score.

I have to agree with Laley on this one. I've seen it too many times where the game goes extra innings and that spot in the order comes up again.

I know what you are saying. My point is that I think about 1/15 times the faster player makes a difference. I think we see more doubles (scoring both) walks (like tonight where he makes it to 3rd anyway), or another combination of speed not mattering than singles where O-Cab scores and Pronk is thrown out. I just dont see many situations where a single scores Cabrera and Pronk doesnt score.

OCab is a truck. I think Hafner would beat him in a race. I really do. Acta is a fool.

YES! I think I should go to every game. I'm 4-1 this year. I also went to Pronk's walk-off HR against Seattle.

I'm amazingly 7-1 this year @ Tribe games. Been to 3 come from behind wins, including one walkoff in the Tigers game in April where OCab got the GW hit, the Yankee game where Kearns hit a 2 run shot on the 4th, and the game against Cincy when Travis Buck went yard.

The only loss I saw was against Texas where Carmona didn't pitch too bad, but our offense was non-existent... However, that loss was offset because I was sitting 4th row behind homeplate.

If he pitches good (Weaver), the AM/PM Dream Weaver commercials on STO will make me sicker than they already do.

So since we took the "south fork" in the road, we stumbled off the path to the north side. Can we keep heading back to the "north fork"? Tonight will tell.

THAT would be ok with me. Give them White or Chiz. Dont offer Pomeranz, he is gonna be a CYA candidate.

But if you get him for Chiz, then you have some other pieces to go and get a big bat. I tend to agree. But the fact we get him for 2.5 years is sexy to me. Masterson, Ubaldo, White, Pomeranz, #doesitreallymatterwhoisnumber5 ???
