Found a 4 pack of Goose Island Fleur, was the last one so I had to grab it. Love this beer; sucks it's pretty much all gone.

I have a friend that has a DFH 120 pack. I'll be paying him a visit this evening, I think.

I was looking for a box around the office, opened up a cabinet that's been next to my desk for 2 months. Open it up, BAM! Lagunitas Imperial Stout bomber sitting there with dust on it. No idea who's it was, but it's mine now.

Reps, Ten Fidy FTW. Deviant Dales is also great. Their flagship is pretty damn good too actually.Curly J;1305015 wrote:I will more than likely will be having my first Oskar Blues beers tonight.

Ten Fidy is incredible. It's basically alcoholic motor oil. I've liked their other things as well.Curly J;1305015 wrote:I will more than likely will be having my first Oskar Blues beers tonight.

New Castle or Smithwicks for me. Although George Killians is right on par.
Does anyone here drink a Euro beer called Strongbow? I have a friend who went to Ohio State who said everyone down there drank it. I tried it once at Eleven on High Street. The beer tasted like it was concocted out of capri suns, starbursts and no beer. Mitt Romney would love it. To each his own, I guess.

Strongbow is in my realm of drinking, not the manly men on here. It's an English dry cider. I personally like Angry Orchard and Woodchuck better, but can get by with Strongbow. Definitely not a beer.

I picked up a sixer of Saranac pumpkin ale (I've probably drank damn near a hundred of those this football season), a 4-pack of Sixpoint Autumnation and a bottle of Woodchuck Private Reserve Pumpkin and a Great Divide Hibernation Ale.

Ah. And funny you should mention Woodchuck. That is my friend's other favorite "beer." Haha. Since I am not familiar in the slightest with those varieties of drinks, apparently like my friend, I just wasn't sure how to actually define it. It's been awhile since I had it and I just heard it mentioned today so I thought I would see what others thought.Terry_Tate;1305136 wrote:Strongbow is in my realm of drinking, not the manly men on here. Yeah, those are all hard ciders. Woodchuck and Strongbow are the 2 most popular as Angry Orchard just came out this year, but those are my types of drinks. Woodchuck and Angry Orchard are both sweeter but to me they cover the alcohol taste as I just don't like any regular beer.

I keep being told I need to try Woodchuck. I might just do that now the next time I am out somewhere that has it.Terry_Tate;1305149 wrote:Yeah, those are all hard ciders. Crispin is probably my favorite cider, not sure if you can get it in Ohio or not.
