Curly, had the Zombie Killer today and I must say it was great. The top came off really easily and it tasted a little flat so I wonder if it wasn't sealed right, but still tasted excellent. Great recommendation and I will be getting it at some point.

Pretty disappointed by the Green Flash Friendship Brew. I love funky beers, but this one completely missed the mark.

What's you guys' favorite low-dollar brew? By low-dollar, I'm talking $12-$15 tops for a 12-pack.

Eh, that's tough. They aren't great, by any means, but Saranac and Dundee are two breweries that are pretty cheap and not horrible. They're a big step down, still, but they're better than what you would buy at a gas station.

DFH's licking the fireplace speciality. My four pack must have been aged on a ashtray.

I really like Rolling Rock as well. Usually that or Yuengling for "cheap" beers

I was waiting for that and held my post until after yours.

I concur gerb. I like the burnt caramel flavor that Son tastes in it.

Founders Porter is very good; extremely smooth and well balanced. I would probably get a six pack of this next time over Breakfast Stout.

First I've ever heard say this. Started with a Firestone Walker Double Jack tonight. It was excellent, debating on another. Everything I have chilled is extremely high %.

I heard that it was good but it was much better than I expected. It's pretty similar to FBS only slightly more mild coffee taste and so easy to drink. I was pretty upset I only had 1 bottle because I was ready for a few more.

I get what you are saying. Just the taste is too complex for me.
Thinking I'll stick with with DFH's IPA's.
