Just finished the last of the Horny Goats. Not impressed one bit. I would honestly choose Keystone over Horny Goat. Just not much flavor.

Making my home made black bean chilli and splitting Saison Diego. I've grown to dislike saisons, used to love them, so I'm glad I'm splitting it. Everything Green Flash does though is great so I'm looking forward to trying it. I believe its the only GF beer I haven't had yet, other than Silva Stout obv.

Finishing up the Leini variety pack (I drank a lot this weekend), and this is a brand that needs to be drank out of a bottle, not a glass. Won't get any of these variety packs (Leini, Horny Goat) anymore. Very unimpressed this weekend. Thank goodness for the bombers!

Really pissed. I left a bomber of Heavy Seas Greater Pumpkin at my parents' house. Looks like I'm just going to have go with some Pumking tonight.

Unless you find a store that sells singles, how will be able to explore new brands without buying a sixer of it?ernest_t_bass;1295499 wrote:Won't get any of these variety packs (Leini, Horny Goat) anymore. Very unimpressed this weekend. Thank goodness for the bombers!

Haven't drank at all today. I thought I'd have at least one before I went to bed. Checked the fridge and found a Fat Head's Head Hunter IPA hiding within some non beers. I thought I drank them all. BONUS!!!

Of the porter? Great taste, but just a touch thin for what I expect in a porter.
I think their strongest brews are their Stout, their IPA, and their Irish Red.
If I lived nearby, I'd be venturing there weekly, too.
Next summer ...
Thought the same thing when I read that.Commander of Awesome;1295554 wrote:Ohh boohoo.

Tried Delirium Nocturnum for the first time over the weekend, thought it was really good. Also opened a rogue oatmeal stout, easily the best beer i've had from rogue.
I'm really hoping my beer store sells lucky and double bastard come the end of the month, if not I'm will to pay for someone on here (lookin at you Curly J) to buy a few bottles and ship them to me. I'd of course cover shipping and pay above cost for the beer to make it worth your trouble.

If I'm a "Lukcy" enough "Basartd" to find it here. The only reason I got it last time is I believe Greg Koch brought it in for his tasting. I'll be looking for it.Raw Dawgin' it;1295670 wrote: I'm really hoping my beer store sells lucky and double bastard come the end of the month, if not I'm will to pay for someone on here (lookin at you Curly J) to buy a few bottles and ship them to me. I rarely buy mix sixers (if I do I get 2 of 3 different beers), most of the time I find it hard to judge a beer off a single 12oz bottle. You can still explore new styles without plowing as many beers as possible, just takes a bit more time. When I first got into craft beer all I did was buy a different 6 pack or two each time I went to the store.Sonofanump;1295511 wrote:Unless you find a store that sells singles, how will be able to explore new brands without buying a sixer of it?

Having a Sierra Nevada Narwhal right now. Its delicious, very similar to Green Flash Double Stout. Extremely chocolatey. If you find it, don't do what I did (pick one up) pick up the 4 pack.

I saw that the White House released the recipe for this a few weeks back, that's cool that Garret Oliver went ahead and brewed it. I actually just picked up some Brooklyn stuff yesterday.Commander of Awesome;1297557 wrote:http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/17/dining/reviews/a-white-house-beer-we-can-believe-in.html?_r=1&nl=todaysheadlines&emc=edit_th_20121017

Going to Indianapolis for a few days for work. Any suggestions on beers to pick up while I'm there that I can't get in Ohio besides Fat Tire?

Ugh...I took 2 shots of 196 proof everclear, passed out, woke up, took another shot and chased a cop car as it drove past my house when I was 19. Never again.ernest_t_bass;1297927 wrote:EVERCLEAR!
