Curly J, I'll be up by Jungle Jim's later and want to get a 6 pack of cider, so what should I get? I love Angry Orchard and Woodchuck so something along those lines would be good. If I knew a time I'd tell you so we could meet but it will be sometime between 8 and 10. I can PM you when I'm close if you want.

PM me. I was there earlier and grabbed some Stone Drink By 11.9.12 and some Bells Intensity. I'm only about 8-10 minutes away from there.

Not sure what all cider they have right now. I love the Angry Orchard Ginger Apple.

SMH, I'm jealous. I may be back in Ohio in November and will be on the hunt for both.

I might have to get it for you and meet up with you as they only got 1 case of the Intensity and I grabbed the last 2 bottles of Drink By they had on the shelf. I hope they have more in the back.

Just got done meeting Terry Tate and was able to grab 2 more Intensitys. No more Drink By were on the shelves, but I'll keep looking. At least I'll have an Intensity for you if you make it back here.

Speaking of Drink By I just poured one. The freaking Hops on the nose is awesome. I can't stop smelling it long enough to drink it. I know I'll be burping hops all night. Yea Buddy!!!

Had a Lost Abbey Red Barn Ale tonight. I used to love Saisons, but I'm now starting to find that a little bit of a saison goes a long way. Black pepper with really dry finish. Wasn't feeling it or what I wanted.

I learned that years ago. I had an Avery 12 at a tasting. Loved the small sample I had so much I bought a bomber. Half way through my first glass of it I had enough and had to have The Wife finish it. Saison is very flavorful to the point if being too flavorful. So much happening in that style.

Have you tried Rogue's oatmeal stout? In my opinion, it puts Sammy's in its place. ;)

In a pinch, though, SS's Oatmeal Stout is pretty tasty.

No, i meant to though, except i grabbed the porter instead of the stout. It wasn't a bad mistake though, still tasty ha.

But I like Rogue. I have a great beer store near my work, only problem is after work I have such a long commute home I usually talk myself out of stopping and go to the local place which has some decent beers, but no where near as good a selection.

Also - I bought a 6 pack of Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin. I'm trying to trick myself into liking pumpkin beers, maybe if I drink enough of it I will. The flavors just don't jell for me. Everyone on here has such a hard on for them that I think I'm crazy for not liking them. Then I buy some and I remember why I don't like them ha.

I grabbed a six pack of Mamas Little Yellow Pils cause that shit is delicious!

Just not a pilsner fan, but if I have to drink one, Oskar Blues is my preferance.

Bottled my pumpkin ale last night, ended up with 39 bottles. I hope it doesn't taste like shit. If it does, Curly J gets 38 bottles of pumpkin ale.

Picked these up on my way home last night. They also had larger than normal bombers of Rogue Voodoo Bacon Maple Ale. The owner said he's had mixed reviews on it but overall it's been positive. I really just want a taste of it. It was $22 bucks and I passed since I've never had it before, didn't want to waste the money.

Anyways - I bought the Rogue Oatmeal Stout based on O-Traps recommendation. I've had the Stone RIS before and I'm a sucker for Brown Ales so I bought the Bear Republic.

Stone IRS is fucking amazing. I actually haven't seen it near me yet, which pisses me off and doesn't make sense. Less than a month for Double Bastard as well. Buying the shit out of that when its released.
