I was rather disappointed that the bottle store did not have Imperial Pumking. As much as you guys talk about it, I was dying to have one. Who wants to ship me one?

Given the debate would it then be "it's Busch's fault?"

Post Road Pumpkin for me tonight. It's pretty decent...but it's no Pumpking. Just checked the other day and I have 7 bombers of it left.

Send me a message on the tweeter (personal account, I get an email when someone tweets me there) when you head down and I'll try and catch up with you guys. I'd like to check it out.Curly J;1287264 wrote:Sorry, Didn't see your question. (some of us have jobs and can't play on a BB all day...lol) I'd say we will be there around 11am-ish. Need to double check with The Wife though as it could be a little sooner or a little later. My/our shifts has changed so I'm an early riser now. I believe they are having Kegs and Eggs early around 8ish, but don't think I'll be down there that early.

Last night's lineup from beer club I started with 2 other guys. Grand Cru was #1, followed by Windmer. All were good, but the windmer would go great with a cigar/fire. Great cool/cold night beer.

I've had My Antonia a few times, thought it was pretty good. Haven't tried the other two.
Just picked up the Sam Adams Harvest Collection, trying to knock out some fall beers while their still fresh.

Killed the two Latitude 48 IPAs pretty quick; decent IPA, been a while since I've had it. Drinking the Dunkelweizen now which isn't too bad.

Working all weekend including Monday which I was supposed to have off./QQ To ease my pain I stopped at the local spot and picked up Black Butte XXIV Deschuttes anniversary Porter, Ten Fidy (never had, looking forward to giving it a whirl, mixed 6er and Black Metal to replace the bottle I drank a while back. Going to sit on both bombers I picked up and drink the mixed 6er through the weekend...

Started with a Le Freak, its fantastic. Also loving my snifter glasses. Makes my beer last longer and increases the aroma.

Oh man, it was fantastic. Also I've seen the light on canned beer. Its superior to a bottle IMO. Keeps longer, stays fresh longer, chills quicker, etc... Top flight beers, aka bombers or ones I'm going to age I suppose not. Other than that, I prefer canned beer. Just make sure to pour it in a glass if possible.O-Trap;1288269 wrote:Decent brew for a can?
