I'm not a player...just a fan. I will personally escort you to your car after the game Friday. No animosity here....you are about to give us a home playoff game.

To be honest with you, blows my mind. He's one of the hardest runners on the team, and he has a huge heart.
Very frustrated last week, but i look for him to get the ball a little more this week.

Spread All Day.....wasn't that your mother's nickname in high school? The MildCats have no chance of winning this game. Our ground game is superior....our passing game superior...our special teams superior. Campbell 38- Strudders 6

I love Studders week. Don't you???
Campbell will have to play like they have not played all year. they will have to completely eliminate turnovers. And just power I there Azz back to the MVC!!!! Struthers better hope Ja'les does not catch fire!! If he does we wont need to have a big play book!!!!
But i give credit. Stuthers will be the biggest test this year for the Devils. they will bring everything they have and then some. So it's going to come down to who wants it more. bragging rights to knock off your bitter enemies and take there home playoff game away.. Or campbell that wants nothing more then to come home for the first round.
I have some questions..
1st can someone give us youngins a little history lesson. I know the rivalry was intense when i was at campbell. The last week of the season was Stuthers week. And it required a can or two of red or black spray paint 'your choice' , a few wrenches a bolt cutter, a gallon or two of gas not required and matches. and a few brave people!!! But this leads me to my question.... I remember someone telling a story when i was around 10 or 11 that there was some real bad blood between the two cities. At one game if i remember correctly there was a riot after and some building burned down and people got hurt.... is this true??? And the two schools agreed to suspend play for some years after. anyone have any information on this???

Whomever comes to play with mistake- free football (turnovers and penalties) and intensity will win this game. Ater playing in 3 Struthers vs. Campbell football games, thats the formula in winning this game. It's too bad that Coach Knapick isn't around to talk to the boys before the game!! They would be amazed what ths game was about!!!

All i know is it doesnt get any bigger then this Campbell vs Strudders. Campbell you win your in with a chance of a home playoff game And strudders wins with a big upset over campbell and i heard some say possiably a playoff game. This is probably going to be the coldest and wettest game of the season and hopefully the loudest. Campbell needs to play tough and smart hold on to the ball and no mistakes. Run that power I stright to the playoffs LETS GO DEVILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After looking at the numbers, Campbell will host only is Martins Ferry loses and we win. I know what the numbers on Joe Eitel say but realistically if we win and everything goes right for us we host if not we will be the #5 seed. If we lose we will drop to 6th or 7th maybe even out of the playoffs depending on what other teams do.
So, this game is huge for us. Period. Good Luck Red Devils! Just Win Baby!

We are better on offense....we are better on defense....we are better on special teams. We are Campbell.....and we will win this game. This has been a complete football team in the past few weeks. Almost as if the loss to Salem woke some of the kids up to the fact that execution wins games, expectations do not. The team is playing hungry with great execution. They have a quiet confidence about them and they are executing the gameplan with patience and workmanlike persistence. Nothing against Newton Falls, they played a great game. But it almost seemed like a scrimmage for the Devils. We took to the air to keep sharp after the run dominated game against Girard. Our balanced offense and an attacking defense will be too much for the Wildcats. Let's Go Devils....let's get the job done.
Struthers will win this game and if the play calling is mixed and giving the ball to brooks and mallis and auman up the middle and actually letting our qb run on designed runs campbells defense shouldnt be able to stop them. campbell on offense is gonna have to look to throw the ball alot more than they did on girard becsue struthers can stop the run.

I love hearing how Struthers "will stop" Campbell's running game, or Campbell's d wont be able to contain the Struthers offense, man please. The only way Struthers will contain Campbell's offense is if they water down the field prior to kickoff.

Well you better get used to it becasue that will happen if struthers doesnt fall in love with calling passes like they do sometimes. but even last year when campbell had such a great offense and struthers defense wasnt as good they still stuffed them and didnt let them get rolling.

Campbell's biggest concern in this game is that WE have a game the following week.....Strudders kids will be busy raking leaves.

Not that it matters because both teams have to play in the same weather conditions, but the weather forecast for Friday looks good. No rain, just a little cold. But it's the end of October. This will be perfect football weather. The kids are going to be running around out there. So they aren't going to be cold. For the fans, just dress in layers, maybe throw on the old long johns as temperatures may be in the high 30's as the game progresses. That's my weather forecast. Now onto the game: I'm looking forward to it. I agree with sonnyblack's analysis. Campbell will be able to run the ball effectively against Struthers. Campbell will be bigger up front. And they'll be able to throw it too. Struthers is a solid team. Don't let that record fool you. But the QB is just a sophomore. He's thrown some picks. Campbell's defensive line has gotten much better as the season has progressed. Regardless, they will have to play well so our LB's can help to make the plays on Brooks and company. GO DEVILS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
