Patrick Henry vs Liberty Center used to be huge in NWO. Seemed like every year they were playing each other in the regional final with the only loss either of them had was from the regular season matchup. Liberty Center has fallen back a little bit some the last few years.

Who is Toledo Whitmers big game?

You have way too much time on your hands. You need to get out more.

Cthelites is correct. In Central Ohio it is Watterson vs. DeSales. The OCC has changed the divisions so many times that a rivalry has been almost impossible to continue. Coffman, Davidson and Upper Arlington have a nice little series going. Hartley and Ready also have a good rivalry.

Carrollton - Minerva
Louisville - Minerva

are both pretty old ones and pretty intense.

You haven't? That's pretty sad, because I have, and I live in Steubenville.

Thinthick, you should have said Rayen for Ursuline though, that is the North Side...even though back in the 70's there was a North too. Mooney would be South/Wilson.

It sure aint the Italians vs the Irish like they would have you believe LOL. Seriously though Youngstown had a real nice thing going once with East , North , South, Wilson, Chaney, and or Rayen Dont know if Ive missed any.

That's the old "City Series" which at one time also included Mooney and Ursuline. Mooney and Ursuline left there and joined the Steel Valley Conference in 1970 (I think).

Ummm, Start has never been competitive in football (except maybe one or two years in the past 30 years). The 3 catholic schools and Whitmer are the big 4 in football. Since they are new to the city league they haven't had a chance to develop a true rival in confernece yet.

95 percent of the kids who attend mooney and ursuline are from the youngstown area. If you were parentt would you want you kid to attend Chaney or East?. Akise teague should be at chaney hes the one everyone is so high on around the state. Whats you excuse on him sorry that his parents actually want him to have a good education. If i were still in school i would wanna go to Ursuline or Mooney to win and stay away from the violence would you agree to my argument at all? In all seriousness jokes aside.

Dover and New Philadelphia played for the 100th time in the fall of 2004. They have played every year since then, plus met in the playoffs one year. So this is the 107th game this Friday. Dover has won 13 of the last 15 contests.
