No way to tell who is the best conference right now. Once the bowl games are done we can more accurately assess the situation.

The coaches poll is very inaccurate. If I am the President of a college and my head coach is WASTING time watching opponents they will not play this year to truly evaluate them I would fire him.

Polls are best left to the media, who do have time to watch all the games.

The coaches have not a clue as to who are the best teams in FBS football in exact order (which is what they do)

You and all the big10 fans on here were bragging all pre season long that the b10 is back and on par with the SEC. And saying the SEC is down...blah blah blah. I waited 3 weeks into the season, and people agree with me, that the b10 is not #1 or #2.....they are 3-4 at best. As I said, people thought WAY too highly about the B10, and I said the B10 is improving. In my original post, I didnt chest thump the SEC, I mentioned flaws and about teams being overrated. Dont know what was wrong with my post.

True statement. LOTS of preseason "The Big 10 is back" chest thumping going on. Now that we're 3 full weeks into the season I also see an improved Big 10 but hardly ready to knock the SEC off the premier conference throne.

I don't know about too early in the preseason but we still have a lot of the preseason chest thumpers now telling us that despite the fact that we're 3 full weeks into the regular season, it's too early to say which conference is better. Amazing how that works. ;)

But of course it emphasizes a flaw when it involves OSU getting to the title game. Of course, if the roles were reversed, the system would be perfect I am sure. OSU is ranked where they are for a reason.

SEC-about 8 decent teams

Big 10-7 decent teams

Big 12-a few decent teams

Pac 10-a few decent teams

MWC-a couple decent teams

Big East-a couple decent teams

WAC-a couple decent teams (but they are both moving to the MWC in a year or two)

CUSA- one (Houston), maybe a second.

ACC- There all conference team could be competent

MAC- They aren't the Sunbelt

CAA (colonial Athletic-the conference that has Nova, JMU, UMass, Delaware, and several others). All of those teams are better than several 1-A schools.

Sunbelt-I'm serious. I bet if you put the sunbelt teams up against the CAA teams, the CAA would go at least 7-3, hell maybe even 10-0.

In order for a B12 team to get undefeated one of the 3 following teams have to go undefeated against eachother: Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska. That is two tougher games than what OSU has to win this whole season imo. On top of that I believe there is more solid competition in the B12 outside those 3 teams. It definitely is early, but right now I feel those 3 teams are better than what the B10 has to offer outside of OSU. My View might be different after say week 7.

EDIT: I also wanted to add that I believe Miami is pretty overrated. I don't even see them playing for the conference championship, and I am willing to bet they lose to VT.

Do you even know who I root for? Have you ever seen me say I dislike OSU? Nice fail idiot. I root for no team, I just want to see good football, and a fair way to settle the national title. If any other big ten team was in OSU's shoes right now (ranked #2) I would still say there is a flaw in the system. The system will never be perfect unless there is a playoff, so don't try to claim I would think the system is perfect if it keeps OSU out of the NT game. At this point in the season i believe the B12 competition is a lot tougher than the B10 competition. Thus if a B12 team goes undefeated, I believe they should jump an undefeated OSU.

Are you trying to tell me if a team goes undefeated with tougher competition they don't deserve to go to the NT, because another team was ranked ahead of them in the PRESEASON rankings. If that is not a flaw in the system then I don't know what is. If OSU was in that position you would be whining like a little girl. Biased bs GTFO. You need to check up on your own bias bs.

No i started a thread because its a FORUM for public opinion. The thread was about fan bases we hate, not "Why do we all hate OSU fans," or "I hate OSU fans."
