I was going to post my response to this thread until I realized who started it-LOL-fishing for compliments, cats ? I'll give you this, though--LSU has the sweetest midfield logo of any team in the country-hands down :cool:

Not tough to figure it out, is it? Its the typical, "we are the SEC, bow down to us!" BS. Amazing how insecure fans of the best conference are. They keep needing this reasurance they are the best. Comical.

Big Ten fans are doing the exact same thing though cbf. A couple are even including Nebraska's win yesterday with the rest of the Big Ten's. It can't go both ways.

WHo started the thread? I don't see one started by a fan of a big ten team?? I also don't see any Big Ten fan proclaiming the Big Ten to be great or the best...every freaking week. And exactly who is including Neb as part of the Big Ten? Personally haven't seen it...??

If OU, Texas, or Nebraska go undefeated I see that team jumping OSU. This would mean the one undefeated B12 team would go undefeated against the other two, which is way tougher than what OSU's schedule has to offer right now. Not only that but the B12 top to bottom seems a lot more solid than the B10.

Miami is overrated and won't even win the ACC. I am willing to bet they lose to a VT team who lost to JMU. So, who is their next toughest opponent? Iowa? They are considered the 2nd best team in the B10 and they lost to a Pac-10 team that isn't even considered to be a top 3 team in their confference. Wisconsin? They barely beat San Jose St, and Arizona state (another pac-10 team who isn't even considered in the top 3 teams). Michigan? LMAO, I don't think I even need to go into further detail with them since most OSU fans are laughing at them for getting all excited from a 3-0 start.

I have seen plenty of OSU fans boast the big ten this year. One poster cited the Mike and Mike show, because apparently they said the Big Ten is the best conference by a long shot (lmao to that).

I understand this thread was started by an SEC fan. A lot of people who are OSU fans are defending the B10, yourself included. I don't know who exactly but its in the Iowa/Arizona thread. Redskinpride maybe. All I'm saying is you can't bash SEC fans for thumping their chest when there are B10 fans saying similar things.

I agree with most everything Cats said in the OP. That being said, Is anyone surprised that he was the first one jizzing himself when Iowa lost to Arizona? He had blue balls the minute Arizona went up 14-0 waiting to post this.

As you should and will in an OHIO Based forum. No brainer. Your in OSU/Big Ten country. Not that difficult to figure out who outnumbers who. Even at that, the few SEC fans we have, are continue in their "SEC, SEC" is the best. As proven by thise thread.
Still waiting on who posted that Neb should count as a Big Ten.......??

No SEC team will go undefeated, nor will Ohio State. Nebraska and Oregon will, and that will be your National Championship matchup.

I didn't say they should count as Big Ten. As I said, in the Iowa/Arizona thread,Redskin pride and someone else said the big ten was 10-2 yesterday. Do I need to give you a link because you are unable to find it? I understand I'm in Ohio, thank you. So because an SEC fan has a different opinion, he's not allowed to share?

My point proven. One person says something about Neb, and that counts for every Big Ten fan. Typical exaggeration by a hater. Nuff said.

Ok. One SEC fan says its the best conference and that counts for every SEC fan. See how that works? Someone who claims to be able to lap people academically several times should be able to understand. Its also comical that you said its too early to debate who is the best conference, yet you provide a link to espn using some sort of a formula to do so and that you don't expect it to change from last week to this week. Typical talking out of both sides of your mouth. Nuff said.

And you haven't been around long enough to think its just one SEC fan. And again, who is argueing that the SEC isn't the best? Most fans of any conference have agreed the SEC has been and is the best.
What you fail to understand, is even at that...they continue to need/want this reassurance, pat on the back, bow down to the SEC crap. Thats the issue. I know its tough for you to comprehend, obviously. Just try thinking about it for a little bit before responding. I don't believe there was one non SEC fan who said the SEC wasn't the best. Wow...do we really need to give you an explanation on everything?

1.OSU will make it if they go undefeated(no chance they get jumped by ANYONE without a loss)
2.Conference rankings are dumb at this time, wait until week 7ish.
3.The #9 team is never the underdog against the #24 team, i dont care what vegas has the line at.

If a B12 goes undefeated and doesn't jump OSU, it will just emphasize another flaw in the system. OSU's preseason rank is what would carry them into the NT game over the undefeated B12 team.

Its an internet forum. People are free to post whatever they want. If you don't like them wanting reassurance, don't come on the thread and post. My original point that Big Ten fans are doing the exact same thing still stands.

It very well could be seen as a flaw but it is what it is. Any team ranked 1 or 2 preseason that doesn't lose is going to be there at the end of the season.

Nebraska is the only team in the b12 with a shot at beating OSU. Texas blows and Oklahoma isnt great either.

absolutely agree. If they want to keep th current system, then they need to hold off on the coaches poll until the end of week 3 or 4. It's ridiculous to come out with a preason coaches poll and put teams at a disadvantage before the season even starts.
