PLEASE TELL ME WHY THAT CREEK MOVED A FRIDAY GAME TO SATURDAY?

(I know the answer its because even the "die-hard" creek fans wouldn't miss the the "only" game in town that night!)
Get off that game... It had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Big Red playing Massillon. Once again to INFORM you, the amount of rain they were calling for that night was the reason. To be honest, IC didn't even bring it up... Ferry did. It was an easy decision to make because of how bad the field was torn up during the rains of the hurricanes a few years back. If you remember correctly (which I am sure you don't) Bellaire had to come up here and play that year (which is why we had to go there again this year) because their field was so badly torn up. THAT is the reason why the game was moved to Saturday. I have to trade with a guy at work so that I could go... Thats right, I WORKED Friday night so I could go to the Creek game Saturday.

BTW, Whats up with that post "You Creek fans"? I guess you just gave it away that you don;t like Creek and are here just to stir the pot.

funny thing about Creek when I was there. We NEVER cancelled a game because of RAIN. We never cancelled a High School football game. One time we had a delay because of lighting but we finished it that night.

I guess FEAR of the RAIN can cause grown men to get the FLU and ruin a TURNAROUND SEASON. Or was it that Creek knew they would lose more money that night so they figured oh no nobody will come to our game tonight lets move it to Saturday so that when we get shit kicked EVERYONE in the valley can see how bad we are at coaching.

Didn't go to a single one this year... Went to Buckeye vs. Northwest and that was it. I think a few Big Red Huddlers from the "old" site ruined any chance of me going to anymore games supporting Big Red.

Can't do it... I have to much pride for such a "loser" school according to NAZE... We all know he doesn't have a leg to stand on, we have ALL shot him down when he thinks he makes a valid point, and we all just wish he would go to Big Red with his future D1 recruit toddlers....

What leg don't I have to stand on? Show me how I am really wrong with Creeks track record not to want to send my kids to a school where they can have something to show for all their hard work other than a 6-4 record? This decade what was creeks best record 7-3? What was their overall record this decade? I highly doubt that its over .500.

I've only been to a few... I love football and and support all the teams in the valley, although this year Big Red huddlers really made me WANT to look the other way when it came to supporting them. I've actually been to just as many Buckeye playoff games as Big Red. Been to a few CCHS games, 2 Ferry games, and a few other valley teams.

considering my 76 year old grandfather could block Creeks best D-player in the past decade I highly doubt that will ever happen.

here is a more likely headline

"Creek Transfers help Big Red Win Another State Title"

Thanks I like being arogant. Its who I am. Sorry I just don't feel like being a loser. But I've come to understand that on these boards losing is more important than being a winner. And don't be upset that my "baseball" card collection is worth more than your home and prettier than any women you'll ever touch.

Manaze-- I don't root for Big Red because they win a lot of games. I root for them because my father and I graduated from Big Red. My mother graduated from Mingo and I always rooted for them when they still had a school. If I had graduated from Wintersville, I would be enthusiastically supporting Creek right now.

If you hate Creek that much, then send your kids to Big Red and stop complaining. You have already beaten this issue to death.

I brought up a question twice and did not receive a response, so I will bring it up one final time.

What exactly are the aspirations of the Creek fans? What would satisfy you? If you would be satisfied in winning the B8 and just making the playoffs, then I think you have the head coach and the staff and the program to do it. If you aspire to be like Dover and win most of your regular season games and win some playoff games, then I am not sure if your program will stand up. If you aspire to be another Big Red and actually be a state champion contender every year, then I think you would have to make a lot of radical changes. You can't win a state championship if you only have 30 boys on the team. And I'm not sure if Connor and his staff are up to the task. If you had made the playoffs this year, you would have been one and done like the other teams from the Buckeye 8. That may be as far as this staff can take the team.

What do you think?
