I'm not going to give out names (against forum rules and with to many cry babies on here it'll get edited) I know my senior year of at least 1. starting o-line transfer from br, 1. starting kick returner transfer from br, 2 wr/dbs transfered from br, plus a couple others that I can't remember with out getting the year book out.

Maybe they came to Creek for the education, I mean that's what big red fans say when they get a transfer.;)

Now if I said that or something similar about Big Red this site would go nuts and I would get tossed.
You can say what you want but we love our school and don't need your approval to be happy.

I was not around when there were any transfers from big red.
I though you were talking about 98 and 99, because I am pretty sure that is what SOS was talking about.
Those guys all came from Central.

You are saying that our kids are trash? Gee, I don't know. Maybe that is a little over the top, but of course that is ok coming from a Steubenville person.

You have never once heard or seen me say ANYTHING about transfers. I have never complained about the success that Steubenville has. I wish we had similar success. This thread was supposed to about IC. It turned into a ****** match very quickly. Now, once again, the IC kids are being called names. I have family that just graduated and family that is currently attending. I find it disgusting that someone wants to say stuff about high school kids. I find it more disgusting that it is allowed.

I agree icskins. Why can they say anything they want about kids and schools.
Why can't they just leave it alone.

it is a p#####g match because when you post facts people want to fight the truth. (the entire thread) I have wished IC luck tons of times on here. I never called IC kids names, AL CAPONE MADE A JOKE AND I DID 1 IN RETURN.

hey calm down on the trailers. my last year they had the special need students in the back of an old moving truck! (fact). I know this because I went into to lift one day during school when I had a sub. teacher and they were bringing the kids through weight room to lunch! Their teacher was a track coach so I asked her what was going on and she told me that was the best they could do for them now!

FACT: Weirton's TOP Athletes have graced Big Red's fine "Steubenville" tradition now all through the 2000's. Don't believe me? Maybe the QB situation would be such a big deal if the transfers were sent back to their school districts... Thats right, MULTIPLE players gunning for the spot are not from Steubenville.

FACT: Big Red transfers that came to IC decided to transfer out because of the amount of "incoming" talent from other districts and states. What a blow that must be to grow up Bleeding Big Red only to find out that 4 incoming transfers in 8th grade will be filling your spot because they are superstars elsewhere.

Maybe thats why people really don't see anything wrong with a transfer out of Big Red, at least players know they will not be replaced when a stand-out comes along because Big Red will snatch them up. I know 2 kids personally (no names) that were pressured to come to Big Red by the end of their 8th grade year... Their parents had to step in and back the pressure off. We all know what goes on, will it ever get stopped? No. Take your success, feel good, be well, and win another Championship on barrowed players. Sure you have some before 2005, but also remember that the mills were open then and Steubenville had a lot more people. More cream to pick from.

I just don't understand how you can sit there and jaw off on a school that doesn't have a talent pool that comes from all over the valley... There are other schools that do it too, your not the only one but when half the people that follow Big Red and support them are ship jumpers and have no pride themselves, only what they find through living through someone elses success, How do you have a leg to stand on?

Maybe thats why I have pride in my old school and team... I know that myself and everyone around me are true fans and supporters because if they were weak and had no pride they would jump ship like the rest of them...

BTW Skinman, yes I was talking about the 97-99 seasons.

So by your owe Admission Creeks finest years were loaded with CCHS talent !!! Man i feel bad for the hard working mingo kids whose spots were taken by incoming crusaders ... but thats ok ?!?!?! Ya go to creeks record books and see the names of leaders of all sports they come from CCHS, Buckeye local, BR .. is that the talent pool you speak of??? so does IC produce any home grown talent??? Only if you transfer to the "tradition" is when it is wrong?!?!!??! FACT : QUINCY WILSON is from and played for weirton ... how come he didnt come to the tradition? Even better weirtons last title was Loaded with former BR students ... I can do no names also but 2 RBs that you had to see in person run all over creek FACT !!! I guess those 2 kids that you personally know (no names) are salty the never got to see the playoffs. How come when the mills were running the IC school distrct never won anything??? Guess those mills only ran in steubenville????? BTW i stand on 2 legs proundly, going to BR games since i was 5 !!!

Let me FIRST off say this... !!!....????%%%!!!FACT:)(&!!!!!!!!????...... Dude seriously lay of the stuff bro. Now let me pick apart your poor excuse of a reply.
d.woods50fan. wrote: So by your owe Admission Creeks finest years were loaded with CCHS talent !!!
When did I say this? Seriously Woods... People can read. Not fooled by your VERY pathetic attempt to start something very VERY very stupid...
d.woods50fan. wrote: Ya go to creeks record books and see the names of leaders of all sports they come from CCHS, Buckeye local, BR .. is that the talent pool you speak of??? so does IC produce any home grown talent???
Where do you get your info? The ONLY transfer that owns ANY Creek records is Joe Hammack... He owns ONE. How many does Zach Callaros own??? Just wondered.
d.woods50fan. wrote: Only if you transfer to the "tradition" is when it is wrong?!?!!??! FACT : QUINCY WILSON is from and played for weirton ... how come he didnt come to the tradition?
FACT: Daddy didn't like Big Red and wanted Quincy to shine... Guess since Big Red didn't play them then we won't know who's defense was better because in '98 we held Quincy to his lowest rushing total in High school AND college... Wow, sounds like something Big Red would do eh?
d.woods50fan. wrote: Even better weirtons last title was Loaded with former BR students ...
They had to go SOMEWHERE to play!!! Shows the talent Big Red Draws/begs to come over year after year....

The rest of your post is just not even worth discussing... you really never actually responded to my post, all you have done is complain. Not entertained ONE BIT. Try a different approach. Try talking about the ship jumpers.... Try talking about the transfers set to play QB this year... Try SOMETHING OTHER THAN FAILING....

Seriously dude... go elsewhere and spit. Go elsewhere and post because reality is that you are Big Red... You are football and that is it. With barrowed players might I add. NOT IMPRESSED. Not now, NOT tomorrow, NOT ever, unless you learn to play with your own district.

I'll tell you what, make me a deal... I will buy a Big Red hat, shirt, tell the IC administration to go f*** themselves because "I" am BIG RED PROUD AND LUV MY RED if... and ONLY IF they send back all their transfers and play this season with kids inside Steubenville's district... And you have to win 6 games. I think thats fair... We won six games and we stink right? I think the almighty Big Red should be able to win 6 games given they are the state's elite... Thats my proposal, not really an off the wall request is it??? At the same time, it would never happen... TO MANY of Big Red's players come from out of district and out of state... You would be lucky to win 5 games with Steubenville boys alone and you KNOW it. So how bout it??? Our boys vs. your boys (Steubenville only) week 11? What are you going to say now??? Please change the subject because your good at it.

SOS was 97-99 creeks glory years? so then i'll quote you, " BTW Skinman, yes I was talking about the 97-99 seasons". There is your admission. "Pleople can read". If Joe Running Back is "The ONLY transfer that owns ANY Creek records" then how come a DB from CCHS had 6 INTS in 2006? or the only BOYS BASKETBALL player that has scored 1000 points in creeks history is from BUCKEYE LOCAL? OH the Q-wil story , at BR its about team not single player shine, and your right they didnt play BR cause no one in valley WANTS to. Ya you always refer to Q-wil underclassmen years What happened his senior year???? Deal sounds great to me but never happen because your are BLIND to your owe roster... its not all creek kids !!! I got an even better deal How about since you sell WOLF TICKETS , i'll buy IC season tickets and when they dont make the playoffs you refund me like CHIP kelly did??? I dont chance subjects, just try to shine light (TRUTH/FACTS) on your little blind eyes !!!

I've always been surprised that Big Red doesn't get more football players from area schools. After all, if you're a 14-year-old football player and you think you will be good enough to get a college scholarship, why wouldn't you want to go to the highest profile school in the valley? Jim Tressel has seen some of our games. Big Red is known from Penn State to Kansas to Wyoming. I mention those three places because they all offered Big Red players scholarships in the past several years. Creek and Buckeye and Central and Weir can't come close to having that kind of exposure.

There is also the issue of academics. Although it is true that you can get a good education at Creek, you can also get a great education at Big Red. The state has ranked the Steubenville schools ahead of Creek academically. And at Big Red, you attend classes in an air-conditioned, state-of-the-art building instead of a trailer.

The fact that Buckeye came in third in the region and that Creek just barely missed the playoffs shows that Big Red does not get all the good players. Frankly, I wish we did.

How and why did this turn in a Creek vs Big Red thread? Who cares what team has what players frankly. Play the best football you can with the team that you got.
