cool. I follow a regional site in SE Ohio, which is one of the least populated areas in ohio, and they currently have 250 people looking at the hs football thread...but im not gonna be a douche on here and talk about another site

How many years head start does yappi have on this place? Obviously a site that has been around for a long time is going to have more visitors than a site that's less than a year old.

Yappi has been around a lot longer than this site. There are too many idiots on yappi that run their mouth (like some on this thread are). This site is free and most of the posters are pretty cool people. And even if Yappi was better (which it is not) this site is awesome in comparison to that huddle site run by a bunch of gypsies in a cave somewhere. I mean hell you couldn't even post links to articles without the gypsies mangling your url.

To be fair, no you didn't.

And in response to a successful site, I don't need to compare it to another site like yappi or jj to determine if it's successful. It's making me a few dollars a month and brings enjoyment to a couple people at least. Successful enough for me. I'm not trying to make this a career.
