Last year, the entire Angels starting line up was hitting 3 bills plus at one point of the season (late in the year). Now don't get me wrong here. I love Choo. He"s a great outfielder and in my opinion, a tremendous base runner...which all counts. Moreover, if we had 8 Choos on the field at once, we could probably compete with Boston and NY.
His average has slipped, thats for sure. But the analysts at ESPN and MLBNetwork today were saying he should be on the All-Star team regardless. That he deserves it this season. I think sometimes we get biased TOWARDS our players, and sometimes we think the ARENT as good as they are.
