Now here is my take on this. First the video starts when the action is underway. You have no idea what happened even before the video starts. When the video starts he is already trying to restrain the chick in the black shirt and she is resisting like crazy. Now the cop I believe showed either great restraint in just not hammering that girl and wrestling with her or he is incredibly weak but even that is not a true statement. You all should know when some is angry and they don't want to be held its hard to control them, whether it is a man, woman, or child! Hell those of you with young kids know that when they resist your grip they are hard to control, now take that to a grown person! Now her thug chick comes to her rescue and starts to physical tangle with the cop, now he is fighting two crazy bitches (regardless of the infraction) and he got her off of himself plain and simple! If I was him both of those bitches would have just been tazed and we would have settled it in court.

I don't care what you think you did or didn't do wrong, comply with the orders of the police and settle it in court, the moment you start resisting physically is the moment some sort of physical harm is going to come.

The level of escalation of force should be commensurate with the gravity of the crime. Here, it was uncalled for and unprofessional.

This whole, "Ask, Order, Make" nonsense is disgusting. If a cop shows up and tells me to do something unreasonable, I think it's crazy that he (and apparently many people on the OC) would then consider it justified for him to use whatever force necessary to get me to comply, regardless of how reasonable/unreasonable his initial request was. If someone can't use good judgment on these issues, they shouldn't be in a uniform, carrying a gun.
