I attend the Fisher House one in Youngstown for the past two years then last year i just decided to have some people into town to enjoy eaglesticks. But by all means if you want to have it somewhere else thats cool too.
Hmmm, I'd hate to combine and only have the opportunity to get drunk and have fun once. :)

Is yours going to be an open invite?

Yessir, Ill just have mine in September to make it another chance for shenanigans.

Sounds good to me. I'll have this one at a course other than Eaglesticks and then come get shitty at yours.

For the quality of course, the rates are very reasonable
I believe the campground we used to keep our camper at when I was in high school is close to this place. It sounds very familiar.
Long term memory loss due to excessive herbal use back then? lol!

For now, the closer the date is to (or in) the high school football season, the less likely I would be able to attend. We'll just have to see. If I'm busy at a game the night before, it just gives me an excuse why I'll be playing so bad on Saturday!

Pick a course near a pool or lake, then the non golfers can have a pool party or something while the golfers are out sweating on the golf course. Swimming, soaking in the sun, and partaking in adult beverages. Nothing better.

I don't golf, but if I have free time whatever weekend this is, I do drink. And odds are, regardless of where I'm at, I'll be drinking. If you're all really damn unlucky, I might be drinking with you!

Also, never played the course before, but a friend of mine is now the Pro at Split Rock Golf Course
http://www.splitrockgolf.com/

He said it is located 20 minutes outside of downtown cbus. If anyone would be interested in playing this I can see what kind of deal he could put together.

Mirg,

September doesn't work for me. Back to the world of Academia and shitty golf courses in Northwestern, PA.

If we can get a min. of 18 foursomes to close the course with shotgun start after 1:00pm Kyber will give you greens fee & cart for $25 / person.

The bar out back at Kyber is closed, so the only food you could get is hot dogs. Last time we checked there for an outing they also wouldn't let us bring food in, it had to be catered by them. They just told us lots of things that didn't pan out. St. Alban's would be a more relaxed place to play if you go with Johnstown. The closest hotel would also be Newark or Easton if people wanted to stay.

But hey, it's in my backyard so I'd show up and help sej distribute the beverages. ;)

Assuming my wife won't be traveling for work the weekend we decide to have this she would also be a member of the "beer wench" team.

Just found out that the Huddle Fisher House outing is not happening this year Mirg and Gerb. Kind of a bummer...but at least we have this to look forward to.

I'm assuming the price for this will include food and drinks? Just seems easier than each person buying food and beer at the course. There was also a price for those just eating and drinking and not golfing.

WHAT??? That sucks big time. Do you know what happened? I look forward to that each year.
I can probably round up my lady into that as well and I may need a dd as well...

According to Radcard, a lot of the committee members weren't able to put the time into planning it this year.

Dang. Oh well maybe next year. Now I must hound Rad into showing up for one of ours either justins or mirgs. He showed up for Mirgs last year which was cool as hell of him. Guess you NEO's will have to venture our way this year.
