A sweep would’ve been very detrimental. 1-2 could survive (4 back). 2-1 and it’s almost like picking up a game despite losing one lol.

Note: I am 100% counting on Twins not losing a game to the Marlins.

Everyone, for about a year now. I still think it will be at the deadline in 2021. But everyone thinks it could be one of the best returns ever if they do it next year. I just can’t fathom the Tribe doing it.

 

You say "everyone", but I've only read one or two articles speculating with the old "what if" scenarios...and I agree 100% with your last statement.

The Twins are trying to prove you wrong, blowing a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the ninth to let Miami tie the game. But Miami being what Miami is, had back-to-back Ks with the bases loaded and one out.

How come nobody told us Salazar topped out at 87 these days. Yikes. And also really scary for him (granted it’s just a shoulder), that’s a drastic velocity drop even with a surgery.

Cole throws Puig 87 mph....dumb. He murdered it. 94+ in top half of zone and he’s missing it late. He hits curveballs in zone hard.

Reyes smokes a 99 mph in top of the zone.....wow, better off speed him

Salazar done, and he didn’t look great. Ironically, he finally seems to have learned how to pitch, he just doesn’t have the stuff anymore.

He was hitting 93 in AAA, not sure what happened tonight.
