Belly35 New Question of the day?

Is the demand for Toilet paper the same as for Viagra?

Belly35 New Question of the day 03-31-2020?

Will America become better cooks or social media addicts?

When you hear so much about these food preparer/delivery services, it makes you wonder how deficient the cooking skills are among the younger folk.  It is a great time to be a cook/chef at home and further expand your horizons, and a great time to learn the basics for many.

Sounds too much like work, according to my sons.  Even heating up a frozen meal expends more effort than calling GrubDash or DoorHub.  In my bachelor days I would never be confused as a real cook, but there was definitely a sense of pride in following the instructions on a box of Rice-A-Roni properly, and sitting down to eat something you prepared yourself.

As a young man, I learned how to cook and cook some very good dishes. I also found that the skills of cooking presented some very rewarding benefits. The ladies seemed to appreciate and I do mean appreciate a man that can cook, nice wines and the meaning of a romantic evening.

Worked in food for almost a decade, I can hold my own. Age is irrelevant, I know plenty of people old and young who can't cook a basic meal.

That being said, I was against ordering delivery when this all started, but I caved and ordered twice this week. :(

I'm very jealous of people who have grill/smoker access. Especially here and the weather is turning I would kill to have my own outdoor grilling space.

We've been enjoying some grilling. Steaks and chicken. I've started throwing some peppers on the grill too, nice touch on them!

I need to grill them peaches again like we did last summer. Delicious.
