Exactly. I'd love for once, a team to use an athlete like this as the example, you signed the contract, if you don't want to play out the final years of it, thats fine with us, but you're not getting traded, and you're not getting a raise, go get a real job. The fact that Josh is acting like he is entitled to more than what they offered is what pisses me off. He has earned a raise, but he signed the dotted line saying he would take a 6.77 million deal over 6 years, and get up to 400k in bonus money for each season, he did that.just_a_swimmer wrote: "I don't have to do anything," Cribbs said. They'd be forced to trade me because it's a business."
From espn article.
He don't get it. If he sits he doesn't get paid and he can actually be fined for everyday he misses practice and stuff. He is right about one thing, it's business. He needs to take a few weeks off and let Holmgren get a GM in place and quit whining like a cry baby. I like the guy but this behavior does nothing for his value with this team or any other team. He also needs to remember, he is the one that signed a 6 year deal.
