I like Puig, but that’s a HUGE HAUL you listed. Puig isn’t worth one of those players for a last place team trading to a team in a division race. Not to mention contract vs Mercado in rookie deal, it just makes no sense for the Tribe. What would make more sense would be a middling AAA player of a promising low A guy.

Just Puig in general. Mercado is killing it and wanting Puig would be a Naquin thing.

Yeah, I’m not against Puig. Just don’t think he fits what the Tribe wants to do. Anyone younger they will keep because of contracts, especially Mercado and Naquin because they are producing right now.

On the post game show, Al and Jensen agreed that under close scrutiny, he did flinch slightly.
Personally, that call goes into the bullshit file.
