NFL: I'd run a full on college offense. Tons of movement, RPOs, options, Run and Gun etc... I'd take players like Lamar Jackson/Geno Smith/RG3/Cardale Jones/Kapernick/etc... and run them into the ground. If one goes down, I'd have another QB behind him ready to take his place.

It would help with scouting, getting rookies up to speed [esp oline & WR - which both have well known challenges adjusting to NFL]. NFL is need of a change up, too many dinosaurs with bad schemes, not adjusting to talent, etc... Would be a good way to play moneyball also I'd imagine.

I actually laughed at that clusterfuck of an RPO attempt by the Steelers yesterday that resulted in the Donks D-Lineman picking off Roethlisberger. A non-RPO team (Steelers) trying to recreate the wheel when it's not what they do.

I think a full on college spread offense would be deadly in the NFL. Defenses would adjust for sure, but I think it would take a few years. The issue is keeping the QB healthy, which is why having a few of the college kids that thrived in that offense in college would be necessary.

I think it could have some success (little more than Chip Kelly and a lot more than the wildcat) but NFL speed would make it tough. It would be fun to watch. I think a warm weather team or turf team would have the best chance.

There have already been college coaches we tried their similar spread type systems in the NFL and it failed.  The NFL is too smart, and the players are way too athletic. It would take a year max for the NFL to adjust based on history.  I don't think throwing a bunch of average to shitty athletic QBs in a system is going to rattle many NFL defenses.

I think the speed of the NFL is why it would work. Defenses are just faster, so are WRs, Oline, TEs, etc...

Chips failure was as a GM, and his personaility. That is what torpedoed him in the NFL IMO.

Even as a shitty GM he had pretty much the same roster heading into the season following their playoff season.  Their offense slowed down that season since the league had a year of film on them.  

The more I think, the less I like it...especially with the ho hum QB’s that aren’t good passers. Schemes and routes help but they gotta be able to fit their passes near perfectly into small openings.
