Duke's freshmen are pretty damn good, after watching a little of Ferris State game yesterday.  Really don't care for their AAU style of play, b/c it doesn't embody Coach K, in my opinion,  But they're pretty damn good ball players.

Which era Coach K? I’ve felt he has been “AAU” for a few years at least now. Not to the extent they don’t run an offense, but very much free flowing.

Whoa; didn't see that coming!

Season kicks off tonight. Haven’t had this much optimism for an Indiana squad since Victor and Cody were around. And this time Archie is coaching. Hoping for a T-4 finish in the B1G, which I think is definitely possible with the roster Archie has acquired.

Duke huge lead and then refs call everything. Give Zion a cheapie with 11:30 left and got him out, gave a 3 shot foul and just so damn quick with whistle....hosed UK a couple times too. Let them play.

UK really couldn’t get much going without the  fouls being called. I’m sure this game will come down to the wire and UK may even win...but Duke looks decently better.

Duke just better. I’m going to bed....if UK manages a great comeback I don’t want to see it

I fear Duke is the equivalent to Alabama this year - battle is for second place.  118 in regulation against Kentucky - that is ridiculous!

Given that the first game would show them at their most vulnerable before gelling as a team, yeah....doesn't look good for everyone else

I have no doubt they will be in the mix and a 2 seed at worst. But they also played a team who had no clue what they were doing. Offensively or defensively. That’s the other side of a reload for these coaches...

A team like Virginia (upper class men who know how to play college basketball) might’ve beaten Duke in that game, and then nobody would be talking this nonsense of undefeated and give them the title.
