Since the playoffs are over it was time for a new thread.

The A's will be dropping the city from their name and just be called the Athletic's. They team abbreviation will change from OAK to ATH.

You laugh, but I saw on Twitter that he was talking to the Pirates at the same time as the Mets and Yankees. I can only imagine how our offer compared to what they were trying to throw around.

"Okay, hundreds of millions, hundreds of millions, uh...a coupon to Primanti's and a 6 year, $75 million contract... I gotta call these guys back to see if they're serious or if they've mistaken me for someone else!"

The MLB is just a disaster. No games at noon. None at 1pm. None at 2pm. 


No, for OPENING DAY they put (2) games at 3pm and (9) -- NINE -- games at 4pm. Then (1) at 7pm and (2) at 10pm.


I think I wouldve put a headliner at noon. Then (4) at 1pm, (3) at 3pm, (2) at 4pm, (3) at 7pm and a primetime game at 8pm or 9pm

Reds should have been playing first. Give them a 12:35 first pitch. Give anyone an early game.

JFC. Then they weren't prepared for the streaming influx of 9 games at once, it appears. MLB.TV is down and not working for anyone. What a GD joke.
