I only watched maybe 10 minutes of the Heat game but Kevin Love had 3 of those crazy two handed 79 foot outlet passes for assists in about a 2 minute game span.

I don't see how GSW gets it done. Looney being able to play a bit more helps. But Lakers are much bigger, deeper, at home, have better role players, and play a style that is more conducive to winning in about 5 different ways.
Wont pretend to be on some kind of predictive hot streak, since Lakers and Denver are the only teams I have been 100% spot on with this postseason. But I had Lakers in 6 here.

As a teacher these paths are easy to see and hard to swallow. It’s hard to get kids in the right direction 7 hours a day for 180 days when all the stuff they are around 17 hours a day 365 a year.

I hated what Michael Vick did and strongly attribute it to his upbringing and environment….but happy he realized the problem, served his punishment and came out of it.

After the NBA ends I kind of settle into this sports-less zone that I somewhat enjoy until I get restless for football towards mid-end July. I’ll probably enter that zone once Denver is eliminated.
As for Morant, he’s in the middle of a $194 million contract, so he’s being paid.
From what I’ve read, this wasn’t his upbringing. He had/has good parents and didn’t come from the thug background. He’s just fucking blowing it, idk.

And I’m not sure Morant is set. He’s on rookie deal still, and is going to lose his Nike contract.
He signed the 5/194 deal. Can that be voided under the right circumstance?
His rookie deal was for nearly $40 million. I know athletes live by different standards and the money can be stretched a lot of different ways, but that’s still a lot. But he’s also an idiot so who knows.
Didn’t realize he signed. That’s probably guaranteed but not if suspended from team activities. So keep doing dumb shit, you won’t see a penny (more) of it, if I had to guess.
And based off his lifestyle and choices, seems unlikely he’s been putting it away for retirement.
Also, at the risk of sounding old, people need to stop fucking filming themselves doing everything. No one knows or cares you’re sitting in your car listening to music holding a gun until you go on Instagram live and whoops everyone just saw it now you’re facing a huge suspension. Just stupid.
Perhaps I'm in the minority. But who cares if Morant is holding a gun? Is it legal to own a firearm where he is? What if it were a bball player posing hunting, with a rifle? I don't mean to be obtuse. I just don't understand why he is so vilified. Don't get me wrong. I am 100% on board with him being an idiot. But is holding a firearm that egregiously bad?
