Storms were not in any forecast I looked at all week. We got to the range and it was pouring. Stopped for hole 1, then we played in a hard drizzle for 2 holes. Then had 6 of dry, but windy...then the heavens opened up. Course was a river when we were driving back to the clubhouse (of course got stuck for 45 minutes on the complete other side of course).
Played decent today, was only +5 teeing off on 8 and then had a blowup hole. Finished +8 with a par on 9. Missed a second birdie (had one on 5) by about a centimeter on 9.
Birthday golf....rained on us 2x but forced me to shorten my swing and I played very well. Only missed 1 fairway and was 6/9 greens in regulation, chipped good, putted better. Shot a 36 on par 35
chipped in twice for birdie from just off the green Wednesday. me and Mirg shot a 33

Weekday league. I'd assume almost all are 9 holes.
Got 18 at Course 3 at Medinah on Wednesday. 93. Played really well but a few blow-up holes (triple and quad). Had 5 pars though, which is the most I’ve had on that course.

Shot a 47 today. Chased a par until the 8th hole. Couldn't get off the tee for shit until the 7th. Had a wedge in on 9, a hole I usually par, and ended up with a 6. Golf is dumb.

48 on front 51 on back. I just sucked from start to finish today. Hated that course. Greens were impossible and the fairways too thin.
Going to Indiana tomorrow and Tuesday and playing at Meadow Valley and Black Squirrel. Looking forward to playing those two places as I’ve heard good things about them.

Does your league play straight up USGA rules, or the “PGA Tee It Up” stuff? Ie, is OB a lateral hazard, etc?

This was just a round at our club over lunch. League is tomorrow at a different course. But we fluff our lies and play OB laterally in our league.

It was the most abysmal round I've ever played. I CANNOT get off the tee box. I go to the range and everything is fine. I get on the course and I can't do shit off the tee. I don't fucking get it.
