For me it was one of those songs I first heard around 40 years ago. And while I've heard it over the years, it's been a long long time since I last heard it. I'm not sure when that even was. Long enough ago that I'd forgotten about it 

So, have you heard a song that you had pretty much forgotten about lately? I rather enjoy remembering forgotten songs!

Darling Nikki was badass. The Pizza Hut near my middle school had it on the jukebox. It was a b side of another single. They obviously didn’t intend for it to be in there. Anytime we went in after school, quarters were loaded in and this song was played on repeat for the entire restaurant to enjoy.  Erotic City was another b side of a Prince record that was in there.

Erotic City is another blast from the past. That song came out during the roller skating days and was a staple. 

Flipping thru channels the other day. MTV was playing 80s videos. Just coming on was Make Me Lose Control by Eric Carmen. I had not heard that in a long time. Loved it. Even had a cameo from Kid Leo (DJ from WMMS).

One of my favorites as a young teen….fun times, fun song….and yeah we cruised the town on Fri/Sat nights
