In a way it's kind of amazing how a team can rarely lose, but when they do, there always seems to be a key missed field goal at the root of it. Not saying that was their only, or biggest, problem -- inability to move the ball in the second half was the worst offender -- but it's hard to not cringe and say "Well, good effort, guys; on to next week..." whenever it's clutch time and they're trying a must-make field goal.

Not sure what it is about OSU over the last 10-15 years,but you are right...big games that we happen to lose, we always seem to have a missed FG in there.
