So Hegseth has no management experience, a "yes man", warmonger, Christian Nationalist, and also a Zionist. I am starting to like this guy.

It doesn't. When I see these types of "boogieman" labels thrown out left and right my antenna are up.
I just have a sense the Washington establishment does not like this guy. Its not because they think he is a warmonger. Its because they have doubts he can be controlled. Either because they think he may be is a "yes man" or they think he is a principled man in a way they don't like. Just my sense when I see this spray of across the spectrum boogieman labels.

I never called him a warmonger. He has clearly taken his view of Israel from his religious beliefs (coming from the Christian bible). I’m not in favor of the position we’re already in with Israel. It is not in our country’s best interest to have someone with input to military strategy who believes keeping the Promised Land with the Chosen People is a priority for the rest of us, and something the US should participate in.

I believe Israel has the right to exist. I get that people don't like the reasons it was established or how. But those same people would have Neuro death spasms if they thought about how every country was established. It is what it is.

I don’t disagree with this sentiment. I just don’t like being on the hook for one specific country over the others because some people interpret their religious text a certain way. Amish believe in simplicity - good for them, I don’t want it. Seventh Day Adventists believe in no meat - good for them, but it’s not for me. Many hard-core Evangelicals believe they are fulfilling their responsibilities on earth by protecting Israel - no problem with them doing that, but not everyone chooses to make that a basis for their life. We all shouldn’t be on the hook for it.

Reading about then married Pete Hegseth and his account of coaxing a drunk married woman back to his hotel room in 2017, banging her, and finishing on her stomach while her husband was down the hall...sounds like a couple of classy individuals.

It'll really suck for Kennedy to go from basically being blackballed by the Ds for not being D enough, or at least not being the D their higher-ups wanted, to then not making the cut list for Trump's administration because the hard-core Rs don't view him as being R enough for them.
Good enough to be in photo ops and to speak at rallies, not good enough for anything else.

I think the concern is that he could be kind of a rogue/wild card and turn on Trump.
I think he'd be awesome for the food aspect of the job because the food companies are getting away with crimes with all of the shit they put in our food.
The establishment R's probably don't want him to try to rock the boat with Big Pharma which absolutely NEEDS to be done.

I don't know much about Gaetz, but I did like how he swung at everybody who let lobbyists make final decisions, including the Republican party. I'd like to see that point hammered over and over until lobbyists no longer write policy.
It is interesting to note how the establishment tried to paint him as a sex offender/trafficker until word got out that Biden's DoJ found nothing credible to the accusations and dropped the case because they couldn't charge him.
As far as Hegseth goes, I really don't like him and am suspicious about his pro war tendencies. But at the same time I don't care that he fucked his handler during a political event. I just don't. If we used marital fidelity as ANY sort of benchmark, DC would become the backwater that it once was. Not that that would be a bad thing!
If the establishment finds a way to prevent RFKJr from becoming a staff member, it will be a definitive turning point against the establishment. If I could give them advice, I'd tell them to walk on eggshells from here on out.
Trump has limited political currency right now, but so does the establishment. On the other hand, he just gained some of that back by Gaetz dropping out. God only knows who he will put up next.
The game being played is always interesting to watch.
