STFU......we go into these countries to occupy (build bases and stay there).  Why dont you watch Charlie Wilsons war for a little perspective.  If we "occupy" and build schools and infrastructure, build communities without the military the Taliban wouldnt exist.

The only political reason they would is to give Kamala some credibility so when she runs as POTUS she can say that she had experience.  But she only got 1.5% of the Dem primary votes so I doubt she even comes close.

Lol, I can believe the "use the old guy to take the fall for a situation that was going to be pure shit no matter what" post where Joe gets replaced by Harris as a possibility. Maybe not the most likely scenario, but something that at least is, as you said, above zero point zero. This, nah. In the primary, Harris had popularity numbers that were more in line with the Kucinichs of the party than someone they'd want to build around and seems like her current popularity rating is in the gutter compared to the average VP. President Obama was wrong in nearly every move he made in Afghanistan which included some of the worst humanitarian atrocities of the war -bombing a wedding and a hospital that housed Doctors without Borders. President Trump's administration brokered a "peace deal" after requesting Pakistan release five thousand Taliban fighters including the terrorist that is now the acting President of Afghanistan and leader/co-founder of the Taliban namely Abdul Ghani Baradar. The deal brokered by President Trump was reviewed by President Biden and his team including the Secretary of State continued with its plan with little revision. They bragged about it. Biden boasted about being the President to finally end the forever war. His administration moved the May 1st deadline to leave Afghanistan until now which is why ultimately the blame for this should rest on the shoulders of President Biden because he holds the keys to the kingdom and issued the order.

Basically, neither Congress nor any president involved did anything to earn any praise with the situation. And sorry, Icl, but Trump's involvement was a bit more serious than the "mean tweets" line you try to break out as often as possible as if that was the only flaw he had and the sole reason he lost.

I like chaps, and agree. I blame Bush, Obama, Trump, and Biden. I only liked Trump for pissing off the media, otherwise he was a clown too. 

Congress has not had the balls to officially declare war since 1941.  Then when it goes south they wash their hands of it.  Nearly every war since has not ended in an ideal outcome.

I mean I get that, they’re in charge but more often than not they’re taking advice and making decisions based off suggestions from the military. The generals never seem to shoulder any blame and they’re essentially calling the shots.  

Not that the average person would even know who to blame.
