Josh Tomlin continues to be bad. Ramirez with first bad outing in a long time.

Reds gave it up with a couple of their top relievers.

Lets win series tomorrow

.....and on my comments on Scrabble and his left handed relief pitching. 

MF is making 5.5 million this year with Seattle eating the second year of his 11 million contract. In addition, the Tribe picks him up on a half million contract for this year. 

He has 21 appearances this year, 9.1 innings pitched. He is a sucky left handed reliever who is only used in situations. 

End of rant.

If cheaper I’d try but relievers often have a two year peak span and then become far less effective. I’m not convinced he’s ever going to be as great as he was but still could be a pretty good player and getting out of those small parks in East could help.

Would Zach Britton prevail in a change of scenery?  He has been awful this year

He has only been back for like 2 weeks. Small sample size. Injury would be a concern for sure, but nothing in his past suggests he will be this bad on an outing to outing basis.

Chisenhall is out for "an extended period of time"

Miller back sometime after all star break

Machado would be luxury to sit Kipnis 

They need a corner if Chiz is out extended and one more arm for the 7/8th inning even if Miller is healthy before going in on Machado

95% chance they will be the 3 seed in the AL, so no urgency right now except health

Lindor lost a ball in the sun? I argued for about 5 pages with an asshole on RedsZone about how the sun can get to any player...if it’s directly into the sun, it won’t be caught. Sucks but true.

Yeah. A’s lost one as well. Both teams lost a few more, but recovered and caught them. It was brutal today with no clouds.

That soft tossing batting practice meatball throwing "pitcher" is the bane of my existence. I have disliked him forever.
