Never would’ve guessed McCarthy would be 16/20 with no turnovers. Made some big passes and some passes I can’t believe.
Michigan had great play calls when it mattered. One less turnover.
Tip your cap
#0 leaked out and had 10-15 yards easily….but he forced it middle field
Awful way to end it. Not sure how OSU didn’t have a better QB on their roster. Does Day survive this?
Auburn is so dumb. Defensive backs are so dumb. It’s just idiotic. An 8 second play and you never look at the ball.
Now they are going to fight. Bunch of morons.
The writers were busy with the Bama game
Honestly Auburn should never play another football game again. Their program should just be terminated

The people calling for Day's head are ridiculous.
He's a top 5 coach. Who are you going to replace him with?

Everyone in southern Ohio saying Vrabrl
So the final hideous play by Auburn wasn’t returned for a TD???
That changed the over/under
Florida is dirty

I personally don’t think he will be fired, but a lot of people have brought it up. Losing to Michigan 3 years in a row frustrates people.

With a new President coming in Jan. 1 and Gene Smith leaving in the Summer, there's zero chance of a change.
Good coaches aren’t dropping from the trees. They’re rare. Dismissing Day does nothing good unless you bring in a generational coach. Otherwise the turmoil in the program alone sets you back for years.

Correct. When people call for a coach to be fired, they're solving the easy half of the "problem". Don't tell me you want someone fired unless you're ready to 1) give me the name of someone proven to be better and 2) we can get.

Is he a top 5 coach?
He may be barely top 5, but his resume wins are few. What top 5 team has he beat? Clemson in 19?
Ryan Day is now 1-3 versus Michigan, 1-4 as an underdog and 1-6 versus top 5 teams
He has no signature wins since 2019.
I'm not saying to fire him. But, he obviously cannot win a big game....yet. that may change, but he got his ass outcoached yesterday.

And no wins in 4 years....a whole class has no gold pants. That's unacceptable.
Funny thing is, Ohio States 2024 schedule is a joke, so they won't be tested until the last game.
I think 2024 is as close to a must win as you can get for him.

He's 1-6 against top 5 teams (the only time that they go against similar talent). He's kept the recruiting machine going that he inherited. He seems to get out-coached more often than not when they compete against similar talent. He shouldn't be fired, but definitely under some pressure.

Still no gold pants....and no big wins since 2019.
Not saying he should be fired, just being realistic here. If the standard is Bama, Georgia level, Day is not close to elevating Ohio State there..yet.
