Yep, so weird. I really don't get it. I respect Tom Thibbs, he's earned it. But with Wiggins/Towns/Dieng/Butler, then trade Rubio you play like ass and are horrible on defense? I just don't get it. Also Taj Gibson is D.O.N.E.

Really don't think Thibs is a very good coach. He's just always been very fortunate with his timing with teams.

Watching Twolves/Thunder. Man neither team is inspiring confidence as a good team. Thunder remind me of 05/06 Cavs, all stand around and watching LBJ (ala RW). Twolves I just don't get and haven't gotten for 2+ yrs. All the talent, but it's not working. It's like stars and scrubs, but they're scrubs really suck and they don't play D.

It was working 2 years ago with KD/Russ.  KD just happened to choke like a bitch in the WCF and then leave for the team he choked against.

Just think he's overrated as a "defensive guru". Minnesota's defensive ratings are not great this year (think I saw them at one point they were 26th in the NBA in defensive efficiency). He was on that Boston '08 championship team but got "lucky" with KG, RA, and other defensive minded players coming there. Same thing on the Bulls, he had great defensive players.

PG and CA takes turns shooting terrible. Bad additions that aren’t helpful winning anymore than what they had.
