I had a hard time believing he did better than Quisenberry.  I looked at Quisenberry’s stats and saw that he and I are three weeks apart in age.

I would’ve guessed Buhner higher...knew he had 3 straight 40 HR and played 15 years or so....would’ve thought about 350

That’s the thing that sticks out to me, too. I remember when in the mid 90’s, Buhner was a very feared hitter to us Tribe fans.

KC was known as a feeder system for the Yankees back in the day.

Yeah that narrowed it down a lot. Next guess was Frank Thomas farewell tour. But pretty sure that was just Oakland
