Robin Roberts?

Every time I think of him, I think of this old commercial:

Great guess but no....could’ve been in on the question with 6x

LOL  That was exhausting.  Great question, though.

Question #141:

This pitcher is the only HOFer in the last 50 years to give up 125+ earned runs in a season and still manage to win 20+ games.

Quick enough.  Yep.  1979.  Won 21 games (and lost 20).  Gave up 129 earned runs, and 160 total runs.

Question #142:

With the increased complexity of bullpens from the 1980s on, as well as the increased attention to prolonging pitching careers, fewer and fewer pitchers are going the distance.  Only nine pitchers have pitched 12 or more complete games in a single season between 1990 and today (it's happened ten times, as Jack McDowell did it twice in '91 and '92).

Only two of them are Hall of Famers.  Who are they?

That's one.  He threw 12 CGs in 1999.

Yes to Randy.  No to Maddux.

Interestingly, Livan thew 8+ CGs in three separate seasons, but never reached 12.

No, though he did do it in '87.  He's the only HOFer to do it from '87-89.

There it is.  Pedro did it in '97 with 13 CGs.

Interestingly, nobody has done it in the 2000s, HOFer or otherwise.  Randy was the last one when he did it in 1999.

How many did CC have the year he was traded? I swear 75% of his Milwaukee starts we’re CG (thought he only had like 15 starts for them)
