Yep. Some are saying he looks better than Revis did his rookie season. Pickens looks great, as well. He'll be in the running for OROY.
Sauce helped his case for DROY yesterday. Breece Hall entered the conversation for OROY.
I still have Geno leading CBPOY.
Highest comp pct through Week 5 since at least 1950
(min. 100 attempts)
2018 Drew Brees 77.9%
2017 Alex Smith 76.6%
2013 Peyton Manning 75.8%
2022 GENO SMITH 75.2%
2021 Kyler Murray 75.2%@GenoSmith3 has a PhD in DIMES pic.twitter.com/2KzRtEE2XOโ NFL on CBS ๐ (@NFLonCBS) October 11, 2022
I think heโs going to come crashing back down to earth real soon real bad. Or he wins MVP. Those are the only options.
But Denver fans have to be sick to their stomachs about how things have looked so far.
Iโd be surprised if he sustains this level for the entire season, but Iโm rooting for him. Even a little regression and he can still put up a great season. Hilarious to see him outplaying Russ by a mile so far.
Quinnen Williams making a case for DPOY. Dude has been Donald-like these last few weeks. Still have Sauce and Breece at the top of my list for DROY and OROY.
Quinnen still a DPOY candidate.
Unfortunately the Jets lost the OROY for the season. Garrett Wilson could turn it on in the second half and win it but I'd say it goes to one of the RBs in Houston or Seattle.
Sauce seems like a lock for DROY at this point.
Geno is most definitely the CBPOY. He could screw around and win the MVP if he's not careful.
Geno Smith has 6 games this season with a 100+ Passer Rating.
