It’s been awhile since a game was really close...double OT in 2008. 

But there have been some tight ones throughout, which usually lead to a 10-12+ point win.

I called before the game that it’d be an upset. K State is pretty good, and Oklahoma has had some close calls lately. Smelled like a loss to me.

Billy Preston signed with a euro team. That sucks. Saw a tweet that this is the 5th straight year kansas’ too recruit won’t be playing in the NCAA tourney. Seems fake, but it’s true. Somehow. 

I know this is really random but I volunteered to work an 8th grade basketball game for the local school and during warm ups the other team had this kid that was 6’2-3-4 somewhere in that range. Holy shit this kid was insane. He dunked about 8 times some reverse, some off the backboard and the kid was just all around good. So I looked him up here he is the 5th ranked kid in the country for his class in 2022. His name is Jarace walker. I definitely wasn’t expected to have that much excitement at an 8th grade basketball game lol

Christ Bill Self...leaves 30% free throw shooter Azubuike in the game in the final 2 minutes and he goes 1/7 from free throws with the lead. Now down 5 and this one is done. Take him out of the game you dumb shit.

I’m pretty sure you can’t intentionally foul, right? Which makes his decision slightly ok. But then he was RUNNING POST PLAYS for him...which makes no sense.

Self fucked up real bad there, but Young owned Graham and that’s the real reason KU couldn’t beat Oklahoma. Great game though, tons of terrific players out there

Yeah, saw that earlier.

I didn't expect much from Carolina after Bradley left early.  However, they're worse than I thought they'd be.  Losing at home to State?  I know NC State has some big wins this year, but come on.  It's the same thing as always though.  NC State made 15 threes, Carolina made 3.

Here's another crazy stat for you.  Today's loss for Carolina was the first at home under Roy Williams when the Heels shot 50% or better from the field.  They were previously 114-0.  Guess that's what happens when you get outscored 45-9 from behind the arc.

Edit.  I was wrong.  Carolina made 4 threes.  So they only got outscored by 33 from behind the arc.
