Home or away? Opponent?

No info. Just heard they could be in the night game. Also heard they could be the opening game of the season. Heard possible opponent there was NE.
Patriots opening the season on MNF, in Foxborough. Could that be vs the Browns?

It is SNF I believe. I’m pretty confident it will be the Browns.

Whoops, you're right SNF

Preview of the AFC Championship game.
Brownies should be happy to see Gronk retire, one less obstacle to their title.

Gronk has sustain season ending injuries when playing against the browns. I think we're fine.

I'd prefer not. Would like to see a nice 1pm game against some cupcake like the Bengals to get them off and running with a W. Not saying they wouldn't beat the Pats but would prefer an easy one to get off the opening day loss schneid.

I don’t know that anyone is an easy win in week 1

Bengals should be REAL bad this year.

New coach, players will have chip...you never know. Every year one of the worst teams beats someone who they have no business beating.
Historically, the time to beat the Patriots is earlier in the season (when they just don’t care as much). I’d love to open the season in NE on SNF and do what the chiefs did to them a few years ago on opening night.
Last year in week one the Buccaneers were up 48-24 on the Saints
I agree with S&L
NE also beat a pretty decent Houston team in week 1, so there's that. I think KC surprised NE in week 1 in 2017. Not sure a good team would sneak up on them. Especially a team like the Browns that has major hype coming into this year.

lol ok
Might as well get the game with the Pats out of the way. If the Browns start primetime I prefer starting the season on sunday night vs monday night. MNF they would have a short schedule heading into week 2. That could be a slippery slope to a bad start.

What, "lol ok?" The Chiefs were a good team in 2017 but nobody is going to expect Alex Smith to put up 42 on them. The Chiefs surprised them. The Browns will have hype coming into this game, with a (projected) much more high octane offense. I'm sure NE isn't going to come in thinking "oh, it's just the Browns" with that Madden offense staring them down.

Neither you or I can be proven wrong, so not sure why you’re arguing this so hard. I’m just saying the Pats are typically stronger later in the season, so I wouldn’t mind playing them week 1. Let’s see what Baker and Kitchens have.

Also wont have yet completely adjusted to no Gronk
