I'll give #219 a pass because he was both the coach & owner. Too much on his plate. Hue's only job was to stand around and blame everyone else.

I hope this is the case. Let Haley focus on calling plays and getting this offense woke the fuck up, and let Williams continue to focus on the defense.

It is, from what I'd heard before I saw this. Smart move as Saunders is kind of a fiery guy. Plus we won't have to deal with the "I should've been the interim" bullshit between Haley & Gregg Williams. Now, Haley can just do his job without Hue looking over his shoulder. Hopefully he does it better than he has been.

Aka, Haslam didn’t want to pay Hue the last two years of his contract AND a new HC

Haley gets the boot as well.

Also being reported that Williams is not getting the interim job.

Haslam says get rid of 1 and Dorsey says fuck you I’ll get rid of both 😂😂

Not sure who came up with this, but someone posted that Hue's last act as coach was to tie in a power struggle.

Surprised by the Haley firing. But Thinking about it, I shouldn’t have been. Tough to convince a good HC to come to Cleveland if there’s already an OC in place (and not a very good one). Imagine they’ll want their own offense and OC to come with them.
