We’ll see. Not with Tyrod

I think they're going to pull it out of their ass and TT will have more lives than a cat, unfortunately. That deep ball to Callaway, which I think he completed because not a soul on the planet thought he'd make that throw on 4th & 5, probably saved his ass for another week.

Yeah, I want to puke...

Tyrod Taylor finished with 246 yards and was 22-for-30 passing. Rating: 94.6. Nice bounce back game that brings credibility and support to the team’s belief in him for this season. #Browns

Taylor wasn’t as bad as you guys are making him out to be. He wasn’t great but he wasn’t terrible. And made a hell of a throw when we needed it the most.

Be mad at the play calls if you want to be mad at the offense.

He didn't play well. Numerous throws were not on target, and he holds on to the ball too long (showcasing slow mental processing). His INT was fucking BRUTAL as well. If if that safety wasn't there (he was) that ball SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN THROWN! The CB was all over him. Putrid throw.

I'm with you on being pissed at the OC, he called a bum fucking game. But I'm going to call em as I see him and TT had a SHITTY day. If we got an even avg qb play we win that game despite the shitty gameplan.

I wouldn’t be “mad” if Baker wasn’t sitting there behind him. Last year there were no backups, this Year you have a starter who isn’t doing anything to deserve playing over a top pick.

What should REALLY piss people off is that Baker wasn't even given a CHANCE to compete. He got no reps with the 1's. Not that they are necessarily QB's but even Ron Rivera of the Panthers has his practice squad guys running with the 1's & 2's at times to make sure they're ready.

Like I said before, putting Mayfield out there isn't going to shake his confidence. The moment isn't too big for him. I'd rather see them lose, putting up a fight offensively, than dying a slow death at the end of the game with TT. We've known what he is....Trent Dilfer with athleticism.

This team should be 2-0 right now and talked about as one of the big "surprises" in the league. Instead, we hear "lol, Browns gonna Browns....can't close the deal." This shitbag offense is wasting a playoff caliber defense. I'm really getting VERY sick of this already and I knew it was coming with TT running the offense.

Yep exactly, TT ain't getting it done and has a very long track record of being JAG. Keep him as a backup, IDGAF but I want the #1 overall pick out there. This is fucking stupid.

Don't know whether to laugh or to cry but just went over to the OBR and a lead story at the top of the page reads "Available Free Agent Kickers."

And that's exactly what he is, a solid backup. I'd never argue that but the dude wasn't coming here, with his limited skill set, and suddenly going to morph into some stud QB. No issue with him if a starter gets injured and he's needed for a spot start but don't want him running this team for a prolonged period of time.

I'm SOOO pissed right now. I know it's the Browns but, after getting into these games (3rd quarter & beyond) I was truly expecting one of them to be a win. Not necessarily going into the game but as it wore on....especially up 12-3.

I’m not saying keep starting TT over Baker. I’m all for throwing baker out there.

But he wasn’t terrible today. Don’t even try and argue he was.

To me, he was Tyrod...which equals "average." Had he not completed that 46 yarder to Callaway his numbers would've been beyond pedestrian. I'm not going to say "terrible" until I see some breakdown of the game but, to me, he was "ok." Not good but ok.

Right. He’s a game manager who can make a throw here and there. But the fact is, he played well enough to have this team at 2-0, but we’re 0-1-1 because of a fucking kicker.

Oh I'm arguing he was terrible today. He didn't throw the ball well, quickly or accurately. He walked into a fucking BRUTAL 3rd down sack in the 4th quarter. I could go on, dude didn't play well. Plain and simple. Not sayin' kill the guy, but I will say he played POORLY. That was a POOR performance.

As BR mentioned, outside of the 40 yd TD in the 4th he was below avg. We roll into the Superdome with 15 other QBs we probably get the W.

I didn’t see all of the game due to travel home from wedding. But what I saw was awful QB play. Playcalling doesn’t help, but Haley is also just managing what Tyrod is capable of.

Its also pathetic when it was tied, I wanted them to go for 2. And when they got to FG range, I was hoping for a Hail Mary. At some point, you just know the outcome with kickers. And it sucks.

My point exactly. TT played like shit, and I acknowledge that play calling didn't help him. But when given chances, outside of the hailmary 4th down play he played like his arm was in his asshole. Both on decision making and accuracy.

Solid post. Guess you missed the Cavs championship and the fact that Lebron is no longer in Cleveland?
