Yeah it’s sweet

Silly they can’t have 5,000 or so fans in these stadiums

Indeed. They can easily accommodate fans, though it sounds like more stadiums will have fans for the next game (Saints, at least).

WTF was that? Down 3 and you go for it well within FG range?

Good on Aldon Smith for apparently getting his life together and having a great game after 5 years out of the league.

KC had about 20% capacity something like 16k people.  Looked about like groups of 4, reasonably distanced.

To go with no fans (like MLB) is basically just completely lazy.

:40 seconds left and still down by a FG. Again. WTF are you doing going for it when you're down by 3 and deep in FG range?

KC had 17,000 I thought they said....capacity is 76,400

No fans is insanity

Yes I was rounding.

The math is pretty simple - 4 people with a row of seats in front and behind, and then two seats to the left and right of the group works out to about 6 feet between groups....roughly 1/6 capacity.  But that's just back of the napkin, and before any other optimization.

If you wanted to be ultra conservative, you could go groups of 2 and still do better than 10% capacity. Supply & demand - jack up ticket prices and maybe you get 25% of revenues (maybe up to 40% revenues with 20% capacity).

I bet if nothing gets drastically worse with Covid by the end of the year theyll all have plans to pack the stadiums in as much as possible.

Each week the percentage allowed in will increase.

Seems like masks actually work really well.  Outdoors and/or with good air circulation should be pretty safe.  I'd eliminate beer & food vendors because otherwise people will have their masks off for half the game.

Browns are bad as the Reds

Don't insult the Reds.

Looks like Browns may have already quit.

I posted my rant in the Browns thread, but yes they did.  This is the only analysis you need for that team.

There’s  0% chance Ben lasts all season. He looks like he’s ready to hang them up at halftime.

He’s wincing every time he’s touched  and sometimes just planting his foot to run.

LOL.  Wishful thinking.  He's been better than I dared to hope tonight.  His elbow is 100% fine.

The wince when he got sacked was because he was mad at himself for holding the ball that long and getting dropped.

Him being mad caused his knee to hurt?

This dude is 38. There’s a better chance his knee will be swelled than his ego tomorrow..

LOL.  He winced once the first time he got hit tonight.  His knee is fine.  The scramble and holding the ball proves he's feeling pretty damn good.
